Strange and charm quark contributions to the muon anomalous magnetic moment in lattice QCD with twisted-mass fermions / Extended Twisted Mass Collaboration (ETMC) Collaboration
We present a lattice calculation of the Hadronic Vacuum Polarization (HVP) contribution of the strange and charm quarks to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon in isospin symmetric QCD. [...]

Quark and gluon momentum fractions in the pion from $N_f=2+1+1$ lattice QCD / Extended Twisted Mass Collaboration
We perform the first full decomposition of the pion momentum into its gluon and quark contributions. We employ an ensemble generated by the Extended Twisted Mass Collaboration with $N$$_f$=2 + 1 +1 Wilson twisted mass clover fermions at maximal twist tuned to reproduce the physical pion mass. [...]

How perturbative are heavy sea quarks? / Athenodorou, Andreas (Cyprus U. ; Cyprus Inst.) ; Finkenrath, Jacob (Cyprus Inst.) ; Knechtli, Francesco (Wuppertal U.) ; Korzec, Tomasz (Wuppertal U.) ; Leder, Björn (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Krstić Marinković, Marina (Trinity Coll., Dublin) ; Sommer, Rainer (Julich, NIC ; Humboldt U., Berlin) /ALPHA Collaboration
Effects of heavy sea quarks on the low energy physics are described by an effective theory where the expansion parameter is the inverse quark mass, 1/$M$. At leading order in 1/$M$ (and neglecting light quark masses) the dependence of any low energy quantity on $M$ is given in terms of the ratio of $\Lambda$ parameters of the effective and the fundamental theory. Investigating efficient methods for computing four-quark correlation functions / Abdel-Rehim, Abdou (SUNY, Utica/Rome ; Cyprus Inst.) ; Alexandrou, Constantia (Cyprus Inst. ; Cyprus U.) ; Berlin, Joshua (Frankfurt U.) ; Dalla Brida, Mattia (INFN, Milan Bicocca ; Milan Bicocca U.) ; Finkenrath, Jacob (Cyprus Inst.) ; Wagner, Marc (Frankfurt U.)
We discuss and compare the efficiency of various methods, combinations of point-to-all propagators, stochastic timeslice-to-all propagators, the one-end trick and sequential propagators, to compute two-point correlation functions of two-quark and four-quark interpolating operators of different structure including quark-antiquark type, mesonic molecule type, diquark-antidiquark type and two-meson type. Although we illustrate our methods in the context of the $a_0(980)$, they can be applied for other multi-quark systems, where similar diagrams appear. [...]

Physical and cut-off effects of heavy sea quarks / Knechtli, Francesco (Wuppertal U.) ; Finkenrath, Jacob (Wuppertal U.) ; Leder, Björn (Wuppertal U.) ; Athenodorou, Andreas (Cyprus U.) ; Bruno, Mattia (NIC, Zeuthen ; DESY, Zeuthen) ; Sommer, Rainer (NIC, Zeuthen ; DESY, Zeuthen) ; Marinkovic, Marina (CERN)
We simulate a theory with two dynamical O($a$) improved Wilson quarks whose mass $M$ ranges from a factor eight up to a factor two below the charm quark mass and at three values of the lattice spacing ranging from 0.066 to 0.034 fm. This theory is a prototype to study the decoupling of heavy quarks. [...]
