DataPix4 (Data Acquisition for Timepix4 Applications) is a new C++ framework for the management of Timepix4 ASIC, a multi-purpose hybrid pixel detector designed at CERN. Timepix4 consists of a matrix of 448×512 pixels that can be connected to several types of sensors, to obtain a pixelated detector suitable for different applications. [...]

Experimental Study of Rare Kaon Decays at J-PARC with KOTO and KOTO II
/ KOTO Collaboration
The rare kaon decay $K_L\to\pi^0\nu\bar{\nu}$ is extremely sensitive to new physics, because the contribution to this decay in the Standard Model (SM) is highly suppressed and known very accurately; the branching ratio is $3\times 10^{-11}$ in the SM with a theoretical uncertainty of just 2%. [...]

Measurement of exclusive $J/\psi$ and $\psi(2S)$ production at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV
/ LHCb Collaboration
Measurements are presented of the cross-section for the central exclusive production of $J/\psi\to\mu^+\mu^-$ and $\psi(2S)\to\mu^+\mu^-$ processes in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13 $ TeV with 2016-2018 data. They are performed by requiring both muons to be in the LHCb acceptance (with pseudorapidity $2<\eta_{\mu^\pm} < 4.5$) and mesons in the rapidity range $2.0 < y < 4.5$. [...]

The timing performance of the Timepix4 application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) bump-bonded to a $100\;\mu\textrm{m}$ thick n-on-p silicon sensor is presented. A picosecond pulsed infrared laser was used to generate electron-hole pairs in the silicon bulk in a repeatable fashion, controlling the amount, position and time of the stimulated charge signal. Electromagnetic processes of charged particles interaction with oriented crystals provide a wide variety of innovative applications such as beam steering, crystal-based extraction/collimation of leptons and hadrons in an accelerator, a fixed-target experiment on magnetic and electric dipole moment measurement, X-ray and gamma radiation source for radiotherapy and nuclear physics and a positron source for lepton and muon colliders, a compact crystalline calorimeter as well as plasma acceleration in the crystal media. One of the main challenges is to develop an up-to-date, universal and fast simulation tool to simulate these applications. [...]

A muon collider would enable the big jump ahead in energy reach that is needed for a fruitful exploration of fundamental interactions. The challenges of producing muon collisions at high luminosity and 10 TeV centre of mass energy are being investigated by the recently-formed International Muon Collider Collaboration. [...]

The development of a single-photon detector based on a vacuum tube, transmission photocathode, microchannel plate and CMOS pixelated read-out anode is presented. This imager will be capable of detecting up to 1 billion photons per second over an area of 7 cm$^{2}$, with simultaneous measurement of position and time with resolutions of about 5 microns and few tens of picosecond, respectively.
