Search for long-lived charginos based on a disappearing-track signature using 136 fb$^{-1}$ of pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for long-lived charginos produced either directly or in the cascade decay of heavy prompt gluino states is presented. The search is based on proton-proton collision data collected at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV between 2015 and 2018 with the ATLAS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 136 fb$^{-1}$. Determination of the parton distribution functions of the proton using diverse ATLAS data from $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$, 8 and 13 TeV / ATLAS Collaboration
This paper presents an analysis at next-to-next-to-leading order in the theory of quantum chromodynamics for the determination of a new set of proton parton distribution functions using diverse measurements in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$, 8 and 13 TeV, performed by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider, together with deep inelastic scattering data from $ep$ collisions at the HERA collider. The ATLAS data sets considered are differential cross-section measurements of inclusive $W^{\pm}$ and $Z/\gamma^*$ boson production, $W^{\pm}$ and $Z$ boson production in association with jets, $t\bar{t}$ production, inclusive jet production and direct photon production. [...]

Modelling and computational improvements to the simulation of single vector-boson plus jet processes for the ATLAS experiment / ATLAS Collaboration
This paper presents updated Monte Carlo configurations used to model the production of single electroweak vector bosons (W, Z/$\gamma^{*}$) in association with jets in proton-proton collisions for the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. Improvements pertaining to the electroweak input scheme, parton-shower splitting kernels and scale-setting scheme are shown for multi-jet merged configurations accurate to next-to-leading order in the strong and electroweak couplings. A search for an unexpected asymmetry in the production of $e^+ \mu^-$ and $e^- \mu^+$ pairs in proton-proton collisions recorded by the ATLAS detector at $\sqrt s = 13$ TeV / ATLAS Collaboration
This search, a type not previously performed at ATLAS, uses a comparison of the production cross sections for $e^+ \mu^-$ and $e^- \mu^+$ pairs to constrain physics processes beyond the Standard Model. It uses $139 \text{fb}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data recorded at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV at the LHC. [...]

Search for flavour-changing neutral-current interactions of a top quark and a gluon in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search is presented for the production of a single top quark via left-handed flavour-changing neutral-current (FCNC) interactions of a top quark, a gluon and an up or charm quark. Two production processes are considered: $u+g\rightarrow t$ and $c+g\rightarrow t$. [...]

A search for invisible decays of the Higgs boson as well as searches for dark matter candidates, produced together with a leptonically decaying $Z$ boson, are presented. The analysis is performed using proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, delivered by the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$ and recorded by the ATLAS experiment. Measurements of azimuthal anisotropies of jet production in Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} =$ 5.02 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The azimuthal variation of jet yields in heavy-ion collisions provides information about the path-length dependence of the energy loss experienced by partons passing through the hot, dense nuclear matter known as the quark-gluon plasma. This paper presents the azimuthal anisotropy coefficients $v_2$, $v_3$, and $v_4$ measured for jets in Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} =$ 5.02 TeV using the ATLAS detector at the LHC. [...]
