We report on the design and characterization of an antiproton deceleration beamline, based on a pulsed drift tube, for the PUMA experiment at the Antimatter Factory at CERN. The design has been tailored to high-voltage (100 kV) and ultra-high vacuum (below $10^{-10}$ mbar) conditions. [...]

Linac4 H$^-$ source R&D;: Cusp free ICP and magnetron discharge / Lettry, J (CERN) ; Bertolo, S (CERN) ; Fantz, U (Garching, Max Planck Inst.) ; Guida, R (CERN) ; Kapusniak, K (CERN) ; Di Lorenzo, F (CERN) ; Machado, C (CERN) ; Mastrostefano, C (CERN) ; Minea, T (LPGP, Orsay) ; O'Neil, M (CERN) et al.
The 2MHz radio-frequency inductively coupled plasma heating (ICP RF) of Linac4’s IS03 H- source is more efficient without its octupole cusp in offset hallbach configuration. This was shown by Particle in cell Monte-Carlo (PICMC) simulation using the NINJA software [1] and confirmed by plasma characterization via optical emission spectroscopy [2,3], an easier plasma ignition is also anticipated. Construction and Installation of the New CERN Proton Synchrotron Internal Beam Dumps / Andersen, Kristian G (CERN) ; Calviani, Marco (CERN) ; Cherif, Ahmed (CERN) ; Coiffet, Thibaut (CERN) ; De Macedo, Aurelio (CERN) ; Devidal, Sylvain (CERN) ; Geisser, Jean-Marie (CERN) ; Gilardoni, Simone S (CERN) ; Gillet, Martin (CERN) ; Grenier-Boley, Edouard (CERN) et al.
In the framework of the CERN Large Hadron Collider Injectors Upgrade (LIU) Project, the Proton Synchrotron (PS) has been equipped with two new movable Internal Dumps (PSID), each of them capable of absorbing particle beams of an energy of up to 100 kJ. These dumps replace the old Internal Dumps, which have been operated in the accelerator complex since their installation in 1975 until their decommissioning and removal from the machine during the second LHC Long Shut down (LS2). CERN’s Linac4 cesiated surface H$^{-}$ source / Lettry, J (CERN) ; Aguglia, D (CERN) ; Bertolo, S (CERN) ; Briefi, S ; Butterworth, A (CERN) ; Coutron, Y (CERN) ; Dallocchio, A (CERN) ; David, N (CERN) ; Chaudet, E (CERN) ; Fantz, U et al.
Linac4 cesiated surface H$^{-}$ sources are routinely operated for the commissioning of the CERN’s Linac4 and on an ion source test stand. Stable current of 40-50 mA are achieved but the transmission through the LEBT of 80% was below expectations and triggered additional beam simulation and characterization. [...]
