Hyperon signatures in the PANDA experiment at FAIR / PANDA Collaboration
We present a detailed simulation study of the signatures from the sequential decays of the triple-strange pbar p -> Ω+Ω- -> K+ΛbarK- Λ -> K+pbarπ+K-pπ- process in the PANDA central tracking system with focus on hit patterns and precise time measurement. [...]

Bubble detector measurements of a mixed radiation field from antiproton annihilation / Bassler, Niels (Aarhus U. ; Aarhus U. (Aarhus U.) /AD-4/ACE collaboration
In the light of recent progress in the study of the biological potential of antiproton tumour treatment it is important to be able to characterize the neutron intensity arising from antiproton annihilation using simple, compact and reliable detectors. The intensity of fast neutrons from antiproton annihilation on polystyrene has been measured with bubble detectors and a multiplicity has been derived as well as an estimated neutron equivalent dose. Antiproton radiotherapy / ACE Collaboration
Antiprotons are interesting as a possible future modality in radiation therapy for the following reasons: When fast antiprotons penetrate matter, protons and antiprotons have near identical stopping powers and exhibit equal radiobiology well before the Bragg-peak. But when the antiprotons come to rest at the Bragg-peak, they annihilate, releasing almost 2 GeV per antiproton–proton annihilation. [...]

We describe an experiment designed to determine whether or not the densely ionizing particles emanating from the annihilation of antiprotons produce an increase in “biological dose” in the vicinity of the narrow Bragg peak for antiprotons compared to protons. This experiment is the first direct measurement of the biological effects of antiproton annihilation. [...]

Measurement of the centrality dependence of the charged-particle pseudorapidity distribution in proton--lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_\text{NN}}} = 5.02$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The centrality dependence of the mean charged-particle multiplicity as a function of pseudorapidity is measured in approximately 1 $\mu$b$^{-1}$ of proton--lead collisions at a nucleon--nucleon centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s_{_\text{NN}}} = 5.02$ TeV using the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Charged particles with absolute pseudorapidity less than 2.7 are reconstructed using the ATLAS pixel detector. [...]

Flavour tagged time dependent angular analysis of the $B_s \rightarrow J/\psi \phi$ decay and extraction of $\Delta\Gamma$ and the weak phase $\phi_s$ in ATLAS / ATLAS Collaboration
A measurement of the $B_s \rightarrow J/\psi \phi$ decay parameters, updated to include flavour tagging is reported using $4.9 fb^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected by the ATLAS detector from $\sqrt{s}= 7$TeV $pp$ collisions recorded in 2011 at the LHC. The values measured for the physical parameters are: \begin{eqnarray*} \phi_s & = & 0.12 \pm 0.25(stat.)\pm 0.05(syst.)rad \\ \Delta\Gamma & = & 0.053 \pm 0.021(stat.) 0.010(syst.)ps^{-1} \\ \Gamma_s & = & 0.677 \pm 0.007 (stat.)\pm 0.004 (syst.)ps^{-1}\\ |A_{\parallel}(0)|^2 & = & 0.220 \pm 0.008 (stat.)\pm 0.009(syst.)\\ |A_{0}(0)|^2 & = & 0.529 \pm 0.006 (stat.)\pm 0.012(syst.)\\ \delta_\perp & = & 3.89 \pm 0.47(stat.) \pm 0.11(syst.)rad \end{eqnarray*} where the parameter $\Delta\Gamma$ is constrained to be positive.
