Electromagnetic moments of the odd-mass nickel isotopes $^{59-67}$Ni / Müller, P. (Darmstadt, Tech. U.) ; Kaufmann, S. (Darmstadt, Tech. U.) ; Miyagi, T. (Darmstadt, Tech. U. ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst. ; Darmstadt, EMMI) ; Billowes, J. (Manchester U.) ; Bissell, M.L. (Manchester U.) ; Blaum, K. (Darmstadt, EMMI) ; Cheal, B. (Liverpool U.) ; Garcia Ruiz, R.F. (CERN) ; Gins, W. (Leuven U.) ; Gorges, C. (Darmstadt, Tech. U.) et al.
The magnetic dipole and the spectroscopic quadrupole moments of the nuclear ground states in the odd-mass nickel isotopes $^{59-67}$Ni have been determined using collinear laser spectroscopy at the CERN-ISOLDE facility. They are compared to ab initio valence-space in-medium similarity renormalization group (VS-IMSRG) calculations including contributions of two-body currents as well as to shell-model calculations. Nuclear charge radii of germanium isotopes around $N$ = 40 / Wang, S.J. (Peking U., SKLNPT) ; Kanellakopoulos, A. (Leuven U.) ; Yang, X.F. (Peking U., SKLNPT ; Leuven U.) ; Bai, S.W. (Peking U., SKLNPT) ; Billowes, J. (Manchester U.) ; Bissell, M.L. (Manchester U.) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cheal, B. (Manchester U.) ; Devlin, C.S. (Manchester U.) ; Garcia Ruiz, R.F. (MIT ; CERN) et al.
Collinear laser spectroscopy measurements were performed on $^{68-74}$Ge isotopes ($Z = 32$) at ISOLDE-CERN, by probing the $4s^2 4p^2 \, ^3\!P_1 \rightarrow 4s^2 4p 5s \, ^3\!P_1^o$ atomic transition (269~nm) of germanium. Nuclear charge radii are determined via the measured isotope shifts, revealing a larger local variation than the neighboring isotopic chains. [...]

Benchmark evaluation of a single frequency continuous wave OPO seeded pulsed dye amplifier for high-resolution laser spectroscopy / Urquiza-González, M (Unlisted, DE) ; Au, M (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Bernerd, C (Leuven U.) ; Bissell, M (Manchester U.) ; van den Borne, B (Leuven U.) ; Chrysalidis, K (CERN) ; Cocolios, T E (Leuven U.) ; Fedosseev, V N (CERN) ; Flanagan, K T (Manchester U.) ; Garcia Ruiz, R G (MIT) et al.
The study of the atomic spectrum via resonant laser excitation provides access to underlying effects caused by the nuclear structure, which is of special interest in short-lived radioisotopes produced at Isotope Separator On-Line (ISOL) facilities. Current implementations of resonant laser ionization techniques often limit the extraction of the nuclear observables due to the low spectral resolution of the pulsed laser systems deployed. [...]

Precision spectroscopy and laser-cooling scheme of a radium-containing molecule / Udrescu, S M (MIT) ; Wilkins, S G (MIT) ; Breier, A A (Kassel U.) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, M (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Ruiz, R F Garcia (MIT) ; Au, M (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Belošević, I (TRIUMF) ; Berger, R (Philipps U. Marburg) ; Bissell, M L (Manchester U.) ; Binnersley, C L (Manchester U.) et al.
Molecules containing heavy radioactive nuclei are predicted to be extremely sensitive to violations of the fundamental symmetries of nature. The nuclear octupole deformation of certain radium isotopes massively boosts the sensitivity of radium monofluoride molecules to symmetry-violating nuclear properties. [...]

Nuclear matter radii from molecular rotations using ultra-high-resolution spectroscopy / Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, Michail (CERN ; Imperial Coll., London ; Leuven U.) ; Neyens, Gerda (Leuven U.)
The rotational constant parametrizes the relative spacing between a molecule's rotational energy levels. It depends on the molecule's classical moments of inertia, which, in all studies, are expressed by treating the constituent nuclei as point masses separated by the bond length. [...]

Radiative lifetime of the A 2Π1/2 state in RaF with relevance to laser cooling / ISOLDE Collaboration
The radiative lifetime of the $A$$^2 \Pi_{1/2}$ (v=0) state in radium monofluoride (RaF) is measured to be 35(1) ns. The lifetime of this state and the related decay rate $\Gamma = 2.86(8) \times 10^7$$s^{-1}$ are of relevance to the laser cooling of RaF via the optically closed $A$$^2 \Pi_{1/2} \leftarrow X$$^2\Sigma_{1/2}$ transition, which makes the molecule a promising probe to search for new physics. Ab initio study of electronic states and radiative properties of the AcF molecule / Skripnikov, Leonid V (St. Petersburg, INP ; St. Petersburg State U.) ; Oleynichenko, Alexander V (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Zaitsevskii, Andréi (St. Petersburg, INP ; Moscow State U.) ; Mosyagin, Nikolai S (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, Michail (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Au, Mia (CERN) ; Neyens, Gerda (Leuven U.)
Relativistic coupled-cluster calculations of the ionization potential, dissociation energy, and excited electronic states under 35 000 cm−1 are presented for the actinium monofluoride (AcF) molecule. The ionization potential is calculated to be IPe = 48 866 cm−1, and the ground state is confirmed to be a closed-shell singlet and thus strongly sensitive to the T,P-violating nuclear Schiff moment of the Ac nucleus.
