Shedding Light on the Origin of Pb204, the Heaviest s-Process–Only Isotope in the Solar System / n_TOF Collaboration
Asymptotic giant branch stars are responsible for the production of most of the heavy isotopes beyond Sr observed in the solar system. Among them, isotopes shielded from the r-process contribution by their stable isobars are defined as s-only nuclei. [...]

$^{74}$Ge($n,\gamma $) cross section below 70 keV measured at n_TOF CERN / n_TOF Collaboration
Neutron capture reaction cross sections on $^{74}$Ge are of importance to determine $^{74}$Ge production during the astrophysical slow neutron capture process. We present new resonance data on $^{74}$Ge($n,\gamma $) reactions below 70 keV neutron energy. [...]

Radiative Neutron Capture Cross-Section Measurement of Ge Isotopes at n_TOF CERN Facility and Its Importance for Stellar Nucleosynthesis / n_TOF Collaboration
This manuscript summarizes the results of radiative neutron capture cross-section measurements on two stable germanium isotopes, $^{70}$Ge and $^{73}$Ge. Experiments were performed at the n_TOF facility at CERN via the time-of-flight technique, over a wide neutron energy range, for all stable germanium isotopes (70,72,73,74, and 76). [...]

$^{92}$Zr($n,\gamma$) and ($n$,tot) measurements at the GELINA and n_TOF facilities / n_TOF Collaboration
Background: Stellar nucleosynthesis of elements heavier than iron is driven by neutron capture processes. 92Zr is positioned at a strategic point along the slow nucleosynthesis path, given its proximity to the neutron magic number N = 50 and its position at the matching region between the weak and main slow processes. Purpose: In parallel with recent improved astronomical data, the extraction of accurate Maxwellian averaged cross sections (MACSs) derived from a more complete and accurate set of resonance parameters should allow for a better understanding of the stellar conditions at which nucleosynthesis takes place. Methods: Transmission and capture cross section measurements using enriched 92Zr metallic samples were performed at the time-of flight facilities GELINA of JRC-Geel (BE) and n_TOF of CERN (CH). [...]

Measurement of the $^{76}\mathrm{Ge}(n,{\gamma})$ cross section at the n_TOF facility at CERN / n_TOF Collaboration
The $^{76}\mathrm{Ge}(n,{\gamma})$ reaction has been measured at the n_TOF facility at CERN via the time-of-flight technique. Neutron capture cross sections on $^{76}$Ge are of interest to a variety of low-background experiments, such as neutrinoless double β decay searches, and to nuclear astrophysics. [...]

Measurement of the $^{242}$Pu(n,$\gamma$) cross section from thermal to 500 keV at the Budapest research reactor and CERN n_TOF-EAR1 facilities / n_TOF Collaboration
The design and operation of innovative nuclear systems requires a better knowledge of the capture and fission cross sections of the Pu isotopes. For the case of capture on $^{242}$Pu, a reduction of the uncertainty in the fast region down to 8-12% is required. [...]

Measurement of the $\alpha$ ratio and $(n,\gamma)$ cross section of $^{235}\mathrm{U}$ from 0.2 to 200 eV at n_TOF / n_TOF Collaboration
We measured the neutron capture-to-fission cross-section ratio (α ratio) and the capture cross section of U235 between 0.2 and 200 eV at the n_TOF facility at CERN. The simultaneous measurement of neutron-induced capture and fission rates was performed by means of the n_TOF BaF2 Total Absorption Calorimeter (TAC), used for detection of γ rays, in combination with a set of micromegas detectors used as fission tagging detectors. Neutron Capture on the $s$-Process Branching Point $^{171}$Tm via Time-of-Flight and Activation / n_TOF Collaboration
The neutron capture cross sections of several unstable nuclides acting as branching points in the s process are crucial for stellar nucleosynthesis studies. The unstable Tm171 (t1/2=1.92  yr) is part of the branching around mass A∼170 but its neutron capture cross section as a function of the neutron energy is not known to date. [...]

Background: Nuclear waste management is considered amongst the major challenges in the field of nuclear energy. A possible means of addressing this issue is waste transmutation in advanced nuclear systems, whose operation requires a fast neutron spectrum. [...]
