Development of a detector for inertial sensing of positronium at AEḡIS (CERN) / AEgIS Collaboration
The primary goal of the AEgIS collaboration at CERN is to measure the gravitational acceleration on neutral antimatter. Positronium (Ps), the bound state of an electron and a positron, is a suitable candidate for a force-sensitive inertial measurement by means of deflectometry/interferometry. [...]

The AEgIS experiment located at the Antiproton Decelerator at CERN aims to measure the gravitational fall of a cold antihydrogen pulsed beam. The precise observation of the antiatoms in the Earth gravitational field requires a controlled production and manipulation of antihydrogen. [...]

The ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider: a description of the detector configuration for Run 3 / ATLAS Collaboration
The ATLAS detector is installed in its experimental cavern at Point 1 of the CERN Large Hadron Collider. During Run 2 of the LHC, a luminosity of $\mathcal{L}=2\times 10^{34}\mathrm{cm}^{-2}\mathrm{s}^{-1}$ was routinely achieved at the start of fills, twice the design luminosity. [...]

Experiments with mid-heavy antiprotonic atoms in AE$\overline{g}$IS / AEgIS Collaboration
ments which provide the most precise data on the strong interaction between protons and antiprotons and of the neutron skin of many nuclei thanks to the clean annihilation signal. In most of these experiments, the capture process of low energy antiprotons was done in a dense target leading to a significant suppression of specific transitions between deeply bound levels that are of particular interest. High-resolution MCP-TimePix3 imaging/timing detector for antimatter physics / Glöggler, L (CERN ; Berlin, Tech. U.) ; Caravita, R (INFN, Trento) ; Auzins, M (Latvia U.) ; Bergmann, B (Prague, Tech. Ctr.) et al.
We present a hybrid imaging/timing detector for force sensitive inertial measurements designed for measurements on positronium, the metastable bound state of an electron and a positron, but also suitable for applications involving other low intensity, low energy beams of neutral (antimatter)-atoms, such as antihydrogen. The performance of the prototype detector was evaluated with a tunable low energy positron beam, resulting in a spatial resolution of 12 mm, a detection efficiency of up to 40% and a time-resolution in the order of tens of ns..

High-yield thermalized positronium at room temperature emitted by morphologically tuned nanochanneled silicon targets / AEgIS Collaboration
Nanochanneled silicon targets with high positron/positronium (Ps) conversion rate and efficient Ps cooling were produced. Morphological parameters of the nanochannels, such as their diameter and length, were adjusted to get a large fraction of thermalized Ps at room temperature being emitted into vacuum. [...]

Production and Integration of the ATLAS Insertable B-Layer / ATLAS IBL Collaboration
During the shutdown of the CERN Large Hadron Collider in 2013-2014, an additional pixel layer was installed between the existing Pixel detector of the ATLAS experiment and a new, smaller radius beam pipe. The motivation for this new pixel layer, the Insertable B-Layer (IBL), was to maintain or improve the robustness and performance of the ATLAS tracking system, given the higher instantaneous and integrated luminosities realised following the shutdown. Prototype ATLAS IBL Modules using the FE-I4A Front-End Readout Chip / ATLAS IBL Collaboration
The ATLAS Collaboration will upgrade its semiconductor pixel tracking detector with a new Insertable B-layer (IBL) between the existing pixel detector and the vacuum pipe of the Large Hadron Collider. The extreme operating conditions at this location have necessitated the development of new radiation hard pixel sensor technologies and a new front-end readout chip, called the FE-I4. [...]
