Computing plays a significant role in all areas of high energy physics. The Snowmass 2021 CompF4 topical group's scope is facilities R&D;, where we consider "facilities" as the computing hardware and software infrastructure inside the data centers plus the networking between data centers, irrespective of who owns them, and what policies are applied for using them. Using Big Data Technologies for HEP Analysis / Cremonesi, Matteo (Fermilab) ; Bellini, Claudio (Intel, Santa Clara) ; Bian, Bianny (Intel, Santa Clara) ; Canali, Luca (CERN) ; Dimakopoulos, Vasileios (CERN) ; Elmer, Peter (Princeton U.) ; Fisk, Ian (Flatiron Inst., New York) ; Girone, Maria (CERN) ; Gutsche, Oliver (Fermilab) ; Hoh, Siew-Yan (Genoa U.) et al.
The HEP community is approaching an era were the excellent performances of the particle accelerators in delivering collision at high rate will force the experiments to record a large amount of information. The growing size of the datasets could potentially become a limiting factor in the capability to produce scientific results timely and efficiently. [...]

Measurement of associated Z + charm production in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = $ 8 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A study of the associated production of a Z boson and a charm quark jet (Z + c), and a comparison to production with a b quark jet (Z + b), in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV are presented. The analysis uses a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb$^{-1}$, collected with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC. [...]

Study of dijet events with a large rapidity gap between the two leading jets in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV / CMS Collaboration
Events with no charged particles produced between the two leading jets are studied in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV. The jets were required to have transverse momentum $p_\mathrm{T}^{\text{jet}}$ > 40 GeV and pseudorapidity 1.5 $<|\eta^{\text{jet}}| <$ 4.7, and to have values of $\eta^{\text{jet}}$ with opposite signs. Search for supersymmetry with Higgs boson to diphoton decays using the razor variables at $\sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
An inclusive search for anomalous Higgs boson production in the diphoton decay channel and in association with at least one jet is presented, using LHC proton-proton collision data collected by the CMS experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb$^{-1}$. The razor variables $M_\mathrm{R}$ and $\mathrm{R}^2$, as well as the momentum and mass resolution of the diphoton system, are used to categorize events into different search regions. [...]
