Multiscale constraints on scalar-field couplings to matter: The geodetic and frame-dragging effects / Benisty, David (Cambridge U., DAMTP ; Cambridge U., KICC) ; Brax, Philippe (IPhT, Saclay ; CERN) ; Davis, Anne-Christine (Cambridge U., DAMTP ; Cambridge U., KICC)
The impact of light scalars coupled conformally and disformally to matter on the geodetic and frame-dragging (FD) precessions is calculated. For larger frequencies the disformal interaction becomes increasingly relevant. [...]

Stringent Pulsar Timing Bounds on Light Scalar Couplings to Matter / Benisty, David (Cambridge U., DAMTP ; Cambridge U., KICC) ; Brax, Philippe (IPhT, Saclay ; CERN) ; Davis, Anne-Christine (Cambridge U., DAMTP ; Cambridge U., KICC)
Pulsar Timing constraints on scalar-tensor theories with conformal and disformal couplings to matter are discussed. Reducing the dynamics to the motion in the centre of mass frame and using the mean anomaly parametrisation, we find the first post-Newtonian corrections induced by the conformal and disformal interactions in the form of a generalized quasi-Keplerian solution. The exploration of the universe has recently entered a new era thanks to the multi-messenger paradigm, characterized by a continuous increase in the quantity and quality of experimental data that is obtained by the detection of the various cosmic messengers (photons, neutrinos, cosmic rays and gravitational waves) from numerous origins. They give us information about their sources in the universe and the properties of the intergalactic medium. [...]
