CEPC Technical Design Report: Accelerator / CEPC Study Group Collaboration
The Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China, fostered through extensive collaboration with international partners. The complex comprises four accelerators: a 30 GeV Linac, a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring, a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV, and a Collider operating at varying energy modes (Z, W, H, and ttbar). [...]

Enhanced Higgs pair production from higgsino decay at the HL-LHC / Dai, Jianpeng (Beijing, Inst. Theor. Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Liu, Tao (Beijing, Inst. High Energy Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Wang, Daohan (Beijing, Inst. Theor. Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Yang, Jin Min (Beijing, Inst. Theor. Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS)
The scenario of multi-sector SUSY breaking predicts pseudo-goldstinos which are not absorbed by the gravitino and their mass can be as low as ${{\cal O} (0.1)}$ GeV. Since the interactions of pseudo-goldstinos are not so weak as gravitino, a produced higgsino can decay to a pseudo-goldstino plus a Higgs boson insider the detector at the LHC, and thus the higgsino pair production can lead to the signal of Higgs pair plus missing energy. Identifying the $\Xi_c^0$ baryons observed by LHCb as $P$-wave $\Xi_c^\prime$ baryons / Yang, Hui-Min (Beihang U.) ; Chen, Hua-Xing (Beihang U. ; Southeast U., Nanjing) ; Mao, Qiang
We systematically study mass spectra and decay properties of $P$-wave $\Xi_c^\prime$ baryons of the $SU(3)$ flavor $\mathbf{6}_F$, using the methods of QCD sum rules and light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. Our results suggest that the three excited $\Xi_c^0$ baryons recently observed by LHCb can be well explained as $P$-wave $\Xi_c^\prime$ baryons: the $\Xi_c(2923)^0$ and $\Xi_c(2939)^0$ are partner states of $J^P = 1/2^-$ and $3/2^-$ respectively, both of which contain one $\lambda$-mode orbital excitation; the $\Xi_c(2965)^0$ has $J^P = 3/2^-$, and also contains one $\lambda$-mode orbital excitation. Light gravitino dark matter: LHC searches and the Hubble tension / Gu, Yuchao (Nanjing Normal U. ; Yantai U.) ; Khlopov, Maxim (APC, Paris ; Moscow Phys. Eng. The recent measurements of the cosmological parameter $H_0$ from the direct local observations and the inferred value from the Cosmic Microwave Background show $\sim 4 \sigma$ discrepancy. This may indicate new physics beyond the standard $\Lambda$CDM. [...]

Testing electroweak SUSY for muon $g$ − 2 and dark matter at the LHC and beyond / Abdughani, Murat (Beijing, Inst. Theor. Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS ; Nanjing Normal U.) ; Hikasa, Ken-Ichi (Tohoku U.) ; Wu, Lei (Nanjing Normal U.) ; Yang, Jin Min (Beijing, Inst. Theor. Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Zhao, Jun (Beijing, Inst. Theor. Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS)
Given that the LHC experiment has produced strong constraints on the colored supersymmetric particles (sparticles), testing the electroweak supersymmetry (EWSUSY) will be the next crucial task at the LHC. On the other hand, the light electroweakinos and sleptons in the EWSUSY can also contribute to the dark matter (DM) and low energy lepton observables. [...]

A new method called Neighbor Cell Deposited Energy Ratio (NCDER) is proposed to reconstruct incidence position in a single layer for a 3-dimensional imaging electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL).This method was applied to reconstruct the ECAL test beam data for the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer-02 (AMS-02). The results show that this method can achieve an angular resolution of 7.36\pm 0.08 / \sqrt(E) \oplus 0.28 \pm 0.02 degree in the determination of the photons direction, which is much more precise than that obtained with the commonly-adopted Center of Gravity(COG) method (8.4 \pm 0.1 /sqrt(E) \oplus 0.8\pm0.3 degree). A New Boson with a Mass of 125 GeV Observed with the CMS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider / CMS Collaboration
The Higgs boson was postulated nearly five decades ago within the framework of the standard model of particle physics and has been the subject of numerous searches at accelerators around the world. Its discovery would verify the existence of a complex scalar field thought to give mass to three of the carriers of the electroweak force—the W+, W–, and Z0 bosons—as well as to the fundamental quarks and leptons.
