Linear and second order optics corrections for the KEK Accelerator Test Facility final focus beam line
/ Okugi, T (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Araki, S (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Bambade, P (Orsay, LAL) ; Kubo, K (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Kurado, S (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Masuzawa, M (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Marin, E (SLAC) ; Naito, T (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Tauchi, T (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Terunuma, N (KEK, Tsukuba) et al.
In this paper, the linear and second order optics corrections for the KEK Accelerator Test Facility (ATF2) final focus beam line are described. The beam optics of the ATF2 beam line is designed based on a local chromaticity correction scheme similar to the ILC final focus system. [...]

The Accelerator Test Facility 2 (ATF2) aims to test the novel chromaticity correction scheme which is implemented in the final focus systems of future linear colliders such as the International Linear Collider (ILC) and the Compact Linear Collider (CLIC). The ATF2 nominal and ultralow β* lattices are designed to vertically focus the beam at the focal point, or usually referred to as interaction point (IP), down to 37 and 23 nm, respectively. [...]

Design and high order optimization of the ATF2 lattices
/ Marin, E (SLAC) ; White, G (SLAC) ; Woodley, M (SLAC) ; Kubo, K (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Okugi, T (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Tauchi, T (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Urakawa, J (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Tomas, R (CERN)
The next generation of future linear colliders (LC) demands nano-meter beam sizes at the interaction point (IP) in order to reach the required luminosity. The final focus system (FFS) of a LC is meant to deliver such small beam sizes. [...]

Experimental and Theoretical Progress of Linear Collider Final Focus Design and ATF2 Facility
/ Seryi, Andrei (JAI, UK) ; Tomas, Rogelio (CERN) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN) ; Kubo, Kiyoshi (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Kuroda, Shigeru (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Okugi, Toshiyuki (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Tauchi, Toshiaki (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Terunuma, Nobuhiro (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Urakawa, Junji (KEK, Tsukuba) ; White, Glen (SLAC) et al.
In this brief overview we will reflect on the process of the design of the linear collider (LC) final focus (FF) optics, and will also describe the theoretical and experimental efforts on design and practical realisation of a prototype of the LC FF optics implemented in the ATF2 facility at KEK, Japan, presently being commissioned and operated..

Status of the ATF2 Lattices

The current status for the ATF2 Nominal and Ultra-low lattices are presented in this paper. New lattice designs have been obtained in order to minimise the impact of the last multipolemeasurementswhich have been included into the model. [...]
