We present a Rabi-type measurement of two ground-state hydrogen hyperfine transitions performed in two opposite external magnetic field directions. This puts first constraints at the level of 2.3 10^-21 GeV on a set of coefficients of the Standard Model Extension, which were not measured by previous experiments. [...]

The mechanism of antiproton-nucleus annihilation at rest is not fully understood, despite substantial previous experimental and theoretical work. In this study we used slow extracted, sub-keV antiprotons from the ASACUSA apparatus at CERN to measure the charged particle multiplicities and their energy deposits from antiproton annihilations at rest on three different nuclei: carbon, molybdenum and gold. A Rydberg hydrogen beam for studies of stimulated deexcitation / Wolz, Tim (CERN) ; Allemand, Maxime (Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris) ; Comparat, Daniel (LAC, Orsay) ; Cras, Jules (LAC, Orsay) ; Killian, Carina (Stefan Meyer Inst. We present a Rydberg hydrogen beamline developed to commission techniques of stimulated deexcitation for application in antihydrogen experiments at CERN's Antiproton Decelerator. The stimulation of spontaneous decay is a key technology to enhance the number of ground-state anti-atoms available in a beam toward precision spectroscopy and gravity measurements..

Monte-Carlo simulation of positronium laser excitation and anti-hydrogen formation via charge exchange / AEgIS Collaboration
The AEgIS experiment aims at producing antihydrogen (and eventually measuring the effects of the Earth gravitational field on it) with a method based on the charge exchange reaction between antiproton and Rydberg positronium. To be precise, antiprotons are delivered by the CERN Antiproton Decelerator (AD) and are trapped in a multi-ring Penning trap, while positronium is produced by a nanoporous silica target and is excited to Rydberg states by means of a two steps laser excitation. We report on recent developments in positronium work in the frame of antihydrogen production through charge exchange in the AEgIS collaboration [1]. In particular, we present a new technique based on spatially imaging a cloud of positronium by collecting the positrons emitted by photoionization. [...]

Measurement of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays as a function of multiplicity in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The multiplicity dependence of electron production from heavy-flavour hadron decays as a function of transverse momentum was measured in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC. The measurement was performed in the centre-of-mass rapidity interval $-1.07 < y_{\rm cms} < 0.14$ and transverse momentum interval 2 $< p_{\rm T} <$ 16 GeV/$c$. [...]

$\rm{K}^{*}(892)^{0}$ and $\rm{\phi(1020)}$ production at midrapidity in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of $\rm{K}^{*}(\rm{892})^{0}$ and $\phi(1020)$ in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV were measured using Run 1 data collected by the ALICE collaboration at the LHC. The $p_{\rm{T}}$-differential yields d$^{\rm 2}N$/d$y$d$p_{\rm{T}}$ in the range 0 $< $ $p_{\rm{T}}$ $ < $ 20 GeV/$c$ for $\rm{K}^{*0}$ and 0.4 $<$ $p_{\rm{T}}$ $<$ 16 GeV/$c$ for $\phi$ have been measured at midrapidity $|y|$ $<$ 0.5. Measurement of electrons from semileptonic heavy-flavour hadron decays at midrapidity in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The differential invariant cross section as a function of transverse momentum ($p_\rm{T}$) of electrons from semileptonic heavy-flavour hadron decays was measured at mid-rapidity in proton-proton (pp) collisions at $\sqrt{s}=5.02$ TeV in the $p_\rm{T}$ interval 0.5-10 GeV/$c$, as well as the invariant yield in central (0-10%), semi-central (30-50%) and peripheral (60-80%) lead-lead (Pb-Pb) collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}=5.02\text{ TeV}$ in the $p_\rm{T}$ intervals 0.5-26 GeV/$c$ (0-10% and 30-50%) and 0.5-10 GeV/$c$ (60-80%). The modification of the electron yield with respect to what is expected for an incoherent superposition of nucleon--nucleon collisions is evaluated by measuring the nuclear modification factor $R_{\mathrm{AA}}$.
