The highest precision proof of CPT invariance in the “nuclear binding masses” / Akindinov, A (Moscow, ITEP) ; Alici, A (INFN, Bologna ; Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome) ; Antonioli, P (INFN, Bologna) ; Arcelli, S (INFN, Bologna ; Bologna U.) ; Bellini, F (INFN, Bologna ; Bologna U.) ; Cara Romeo, G (INFN, Bologna) ; Carnesecchi, F (INFN, Bologna ; Bologna U.) ; Chiarini, M (Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome ; CERN) ; Cifarelli, L (INFN, Bologna ; Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome ; Bologna U.) ; Colocci, M (INFN, Bologna ; Bologna U.) et al.
The validity of CPT invariance in the field of “nuclear binding masses” has been studied for nuclei (antinuclei) with two and three nucleons (antinucleons): (d∕d̄) and (3He∕3He¯). It is discussed the importance of investigating the transition from the world where gluons and quarks carry their QCD colors (QGCW) to the world where gluons and quarks exist only with zero-QCD-color (QGZCW)..

Inclusive photon production at forward rapidities in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The multiplicity and pseudorapidity distributions of inclusive photons have been measured at forward rapidities ($2.3 < \eta < 3.9$) in proton-proton collisions at three center-of-mass energies, $\sqrt{s}=0.9$, 2.76 and 7 TeV using the ALICE detector. It is observed that the increase in the average photon multiplicity as a function of beam energy is compatible with both a logarithmic and a power-law dependence. [...]

Charged jet cross sections and properties in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The differential charged jet cross sections, jet fragmentation distributions, and jet shapes are measured in minimum bias proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed from charged particle momenta in the mid-rapidity region using the sequential recombination $k_{\rm T}$ and anti-$k_{\rm T}$ as well as the SISCone jet finding algorithms with several resolution parameters in the range $R=0.2$ to $0.6$. Production of inclusive $\Upsilon$(1S) and $\Upsilon$(2S) in p-Pb collisions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{s_{{\rm NN}}} = 5.02}$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
We report on the production of inclusive $\Upsilon$(1S) and $\Upsilon$(2S) in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV at the LHC. The measurement is performed with the ALICE detector at backward ($-4.46< y_{{\rm cms}}<-2.96$) and forward ($2.03< y_{{\rm cms}}<3.53$) rapidity down to zero transverse momentum. [...]

Tools to Monitor the Quality of the ALICE-TOF Detector Data / Akindinov, A (Moscow, ITEP) ; Alici, A (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Antonioli, P (INFN, Bologna) ; Arcelli, S (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Basile, M (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Cara Romeo, G (INFN, Bologna) ; Cifarelli, L (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Cindolo, F (INFN, Bologna) ; De Caro, A (Salerno U. ; INFN, Salerno) ; De Gruttola, D (Salerno U. ; INFN, Salerno) et al.
Since the beginning of commissioning of the ALICE-TOF detector, one of the most crucial aspects has been to check the quality of the data produced. Both during last November tests at the CERN PS and in the cosmic-ray test facility, running since more than one year, the data taking of assembled TOF "modules" has been continuously monitored in order to detect as quickly as possible faulty conditions or bad detector configurations. The double–stack MRPC (Multigap Resistive Plate Chamber) strip is the basic element of the ALICE Time–Of–Flight (TOF) detector. A test of a sample of MRPC strips randomly chosen from two years of mass production (the TOF is made of 1638 strips) was carried out during the autumn of 2006 at the CERN Proton Syncrotron facility.
