Updated constraints on Z′ and W′ bosons decaying into bosonic and leptonic final states using the run 2 ATLAS data
/ Osland, P. (Bergen U.) ; Pankov, A.A. (Gomel State Tech. U., ICTP ; BSU, Minsk ; Dubna, JINR) ; Serenkova, I.A. (Gomel State Tech. U., ICTP)
The full ATLAS Run 2 data set with time-integrated luminosity of 139 fb−1 in the diboson and dilepton channels is used to probe benchmark models with extended gauge sectors: the E6-motivated Grand Unification models, the left-right symmetric LR and the sequential standard model (EGM). These all predict neutral Z′ vector bosons, decaying into lepton pairs, ℓℓ, or into electroweak gauge boson pairs WW, where one W in turn decays semileptonically. [...]

/LHC Reinterpretation Forum
We report on the status of efforts to improve the reinterpretation of searches and measurements at the LHC in terms of models for new physics, in the context of the LHC Reinterpretation Forum. We detail current experimental offerings in direct searches for new particles, measurements, technical implementations and Open Data, and provide a set of recommendations for further improving the presentation of LHC results in order to better enable reinterpretation in the future. High-precision limits on W–W′ and Z–Z′ mixing from diboson production using the full LHC Run 2 ATLAS data set
/ Pankov, A.A. (Gomel State Tech. U., ICTP ; Minsk, Inst. Nucl. Problems ; Dubna, JINR) ; Osland, P. (Bergen U.) ; Serenkova, I.A. (Gomel State Tech. U., ICTP) ; Bednyakov, V.A. (Dubna, JINR)
The full ATLAS Run 2 data set with time-integrated luminosity of 139 fb−1 in the diboson channels in hadronic final states is used to probe a simple model with an extended gauge sector (EGM), proposed by Altarelli et al., and often taken as a convenient benchmark by experimentalists. This model accommodates new charged W′ and neutral Z′ vector bosons with modified trilinear Standard Model gauge couplings, decaying into electroweak gauge boson pairs WZ or WW, where W/Z decay hadronically. Spontaneous symmetry breaking in three-Higgs-doublet S3-symmetric models
/ Emmanuel-Costa, D. (Lisbon, CFTP ; Lisbon, IST) ; Ogreid, O.M. (U. Bergen (main)) ; Osland, P. (Bergen U.) ; Rebelo, M.N. (Lisbon, CFTP ; Lisbon, IST ; CERN)
The talk summarises work done by the authors consisting of a detailed study of the possible vacua in models with three Higgs doublets with S3 symmetry and without explicit CP violation. Different vacua require special regions of the parameter space which were analysed in our work. [...]

Prospects for charged Higgs searches at the LHC

The goal of this report is to summarize the current situation and discuss possible search strategies for charged scalars, in non-supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model at the LHC. Such scalars appear in Multi-Higgs-Doublet models (MHDM), in particular in the popular Two-Higgs-Doublet model (2HDM), allowing for charged and additional neutral Higgs bosons. [...]

Spontaneous symmetry breaking in the S3-symmetric scalar sector
/ Emmanuel-Costa, D. (Lisbon, CFTP) ; Ogreid, O.M. (Bergen Coll. Higher Educ.) ; Osland, P. (Bergen U.) ; Rebelo, M.N. (Lisbon, CFTP ; CERN)
We present a detailed study of the vacua of the S3-symmetric three-Higgs-doublet potential, specifying the region of parameters where these minimisation solutions occur. We work with a CP conserving scalar potential and analyse the possible real and complex vacua with emphasis on the cases in which the CP symmetry can be spontaneously broken. [...]
