The AWAKE Collaboration has been formed in order to demonstrate proton-driven plasma wakefield acceleration for the first time. This acceleration technique could lead to future colliders of high energy but of a much reduced length when compared to proposed linear accelerators. [...]

2nd European Advanced Accelerator Concepts Workshop - EAAC 2015   12 - 19 Sep 2015  - La Biodola, Isola d'Elba, Italy  / Dorda, Ulrich (ed.); Assmann, Ralph (ed.); Grebenyuk, Julia (ed.)
The European Advanced Accelerator Concepts Workshop has the mission to discuss and foster methods of beam acceleration with gradients beyond state of the art in operational facilities. The most cost effective and compact methods for generating high energy particle beams shall be reviewed and assessed. [...]

Simulations of Electron-Proton Beam Interaction before Plasma in the AWAKE Experiment / Dorda, Ulrich (DESY) ; Aßmann, Ralph (DESY) ; Bracco, Chiara (CERN) ; Grebenyuk, Julia (DESY) ; Petrenko, Alexey (CERN) ; Schmidt, Janet (CERN)
The on-axis injection of electron bunches in the proton-driven plasma wake at the AWAKE experiment at CERN implies co-propagation of a low-energy electron beam with the long high-energy proton beam in a common beam pipe over several meters upstream of the plasma chamber. The possible effects of the proton-induced wakefields on the electron bunch phase space in the common beam pipe region may have crucial implications for subsequent electron trapping and acceleration in plasma. Combination of Measurements of Inclusive Deep Inelastic $e^{\pm}p$ Scattering Cross Sections and QCD Analysis of HERA Data / ZEUS Collaborations
A combination is presented of all inclusive deep inelastic cross sections previously published by the H1 and ZEUS collaborations at HERA for neutral and charged current $e^{\pm}p$ scattering for zero beam polarisation. The data were taken at proton beam energies of 920, 820, 575 and 460 GeV and an electron beam energy of 27.5 GeV. [...]

H1 and ZEUS have published single-differential cross sections for inclusive D^{*\pm}-meson production in deep-inelastic ep scattering at HERA from their respective final data sets. These cross sections are combined in the common visible phase-space region of photon virtuality Q2 > 5 GeV2, electron inelasticity 0.02 < y < 0.7 and the D^{*\pm} meson's transverse momentum pT (D^*) > 1.5 GeV and pseudorapidity |eta(D^*)| < 1.5. Measurement of beauty and charm production in deep inelastic scattering at HERA and measurement of the beauty-quark mass / ZEUS collaboration
The production of beauty and charm quarks in ep interactions has been studied with the ZEUS detector at HERA for exchanged four-momentum squared 5 < Q^2 < 1000 GeV^2 using an integrated luminosity of 354 pb^{-1}. The beauty and charm content in events with at least one jet have been extracted using the invariant mass of charged tracks associated with secondary vertices and the decay-length significance of these vertices. Measurement of $ D^{*\pm}$ production in deep inelastic scattering at HERA / ZEUS Collaboration
The production of $D^{*\pm}$ mesons in deep inelastic $ep$ scattering has been measured for exchanged photon virtualities $ 5<Q^2<1000 \gev^2 $, using an integrated luminosity of 363 pb$^{-1}$ with the ZEUS detector at HERA. Differential cross sections have been measured and compared to next-to-leading-order QCD calculations. [...]

Combined Measurement and QCD Analysis of the Inclusive ep Scattering Cross Sections at HERA / H1 and ZEUS Collaborations
A combination is presented of the inclusive deep inelastic cross sections measured by the H1 and ZEUS Collaborations in neutral and charged current unpolarised ep scattering at HERA during the period 1994-2000. The data span six orders of magnitude in negative four-momentum-transfer squared, Q^2, and in Bjorken x. [...]

Events with an Isolated Lepton and Missing Transverse Momentum and Measurement of {\boldmath $W$} Production at HERA / H1 Collaboration
A search for events containing an isolated electron or muon and missing transverse momentum produced in $e^{\pm}p$ collisions is performed with the H1 and ZEUS detectors at HERA. The data were taken in the period 1994--2007 and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 0.98 fb$^{-1}$. [...]
