Observation of the $B_c^+$ Meson in Pb-Pb and pp Collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=5.02  TeV and Measurement of its Nuclear Modification Factor / CMS Collaboration
The $B_\mathrm{c}^+$ meson is observed for the first time in heavy ion collisions. Data from the CMS detector are used to study the production of the $B_\mathrm{c}^+$ meson in lead-lead (PbPb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}} =$ 5.02 TeV, via the $B_\mathrm{c}^+ \to (J/\psi\to\mu^+\mu^-)\mu^+\nu_\mu$ decay. Fully coherent energy loss effects on light and open heavy-flavour hadrons in pA collisions / Arleo, Francois (speaker) (Laboratoire Leprince-Ringuet)
Fully coherent energy loss (FCEL), predicted from first principle QCD calculations, affects the yields of hadrons in proton-nucleus collisions at all energies. The FCEL effects on quarkonia have been succesfully compared to existing measurements over the last few years [...]

Observation of nuclear modifications in ${\mathrm{W^{\pm}}}$ boson production in pPb collisions at ${\sqrt {\smash [b]{s_{_{\mathrm {NN}}}}}} = $ 8.16 TeV / CMS Collaboration
The production of ${\mathrm{W^{\pm}}}$ bosons is studied in proton-lead pPb collisions at a nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass energy of ${\sqrt {\smash [b]{s_{_{\mathrm {NN}}}}}} = $ 8.16 TeV. Measurements are performed in the ${\mathrm{W^{\pm}}\to\mu^{\pm}\nu_{\mu}}$ channel using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 173.4 $\pm$ 8.7 nb$^{-1}$, collected by the CMS Collaboration at the LHC. Report from Working Group 5 : Future physics opportunities for high-density QCD at the LHC with heavy-ion and proton beams / Citron, Z. (Ben Gurion U. of Negev) ; Dainese, A. (INFN, Padua) ; Grosse-Oetringhaus, J.F. (CERN) ; Jowett, J.M. (CERN) ; Lee, Y.-J. (MIT) ; Wiedemann, U.A. (CERN) ; Winn, M. (AIM, Saclay ; Orsay, LAL) ; Andronic, A. (Munster U.) ; Bellini, F. (CERN) ; Bruna, E. (INFN, Turin) et al.
The future opportunities for high-density QCD with ion and proton beams at the LHC are presented. Four major scientific goals are identified: the characterisation of the macroscopic long wavelength Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) properties with unprecedented precision, the investigation of the microscopic parton dynamics underlying QGP properties, the development of a unified picture of particle production and QCD dynamics from small (pp) to large (nucleus–nucleus) systems, the exploration of parton densities in nuclei in a broad (x, Q2) kinematic range and the search for the possible onset of parton saturation. Features of W production in p-p, p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions / Arleo, François (Ecole Polytechnique) ; Chapon, Émilien (CERN ; Ecole Polytechnique) ; Paukkunen, Hannu (Jyvaskyla U. ; Helsinki Inst. of Phys. ; Santiago de Compostela U., IGFAE)
We consider the production of inclusive W bosons in variety of high-energy hadronic collisions: p--p, p--$\overline{\rm p}$, p--Pb, and Pb--Pb. In particular, we focus on the resulting distributions of charged leptons from W decay that can be measured with relatively low backgrounds. [...]

Predictions for cold nuclear matter effects on charged hadrons, identified light hadrons, quarkonium and heavy flavor hadrons, Drell-Yan dileptons, jets, photons, gauge bosons and top quarks produced in $p+$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}} = 8.16$ TeV are compiled and, where possible, compared to each other. Predictions of the normalized ratios of $p+$Pb to $p+p$ cross sections are also presented for most of the observables, providing new insights into the expected role of cold nuclear matter effects. This paper reports the measurement of $ \mathrm{J} / \psi $ meson production in proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (pPb) collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of 5.02 TeV by the CMS experiment at the LHC. The data samples used in the analysis correspond to integrated luminosities of 28 pb$^{-1}$ and 35 nb$^{-1}$ for pp and pPb collisions, respectively. [...]

The relative modification of the prompt psi(2S) and J/psi yields from pp to PbPb collisions, at the center of mass energy of 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair, is presented. The analysis is based on pp and PbPb data samples collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2015, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 28.0 inverse picobarns and 464 inverse microbarns, respectively.
