We present a class of dark matter models, in which the dark matter particle is a feebly interacting massive particle (FIMP) produced via the decay of an electrically charged and/or colored parent particle. Given the feeble interaction, dark matter is produced via the freeze-in mechanism and the parent particle is long-lived. [...]

Long-Lived Particles at the Energy Frontier: The MATHUSLA Physics Case
/ Curtin, David (Toronto U.) ; Drewes, Marco (Louvain U., CP3) ; McCullough, Matthew (CERN) ; Meade, Patrick (YITP, Stony Brook) ; Mohapatra, Rabindra N. (Maryland U.) ; Shelton, Jessie (Illinois U., Urbana) ; Shuve, Brian (Harvey Mudd Coll. ; SLAC) ; Accomando, Elena (Southampton U.) ; Alpigiani, Cristiano (Washington U., Seattle) ; Antusch, Stefan (Basel U.) et al.
We examine the theoretical motivations for long-lived particle (LLP) signals at the LHC in a comprehensive survey of Standard Model (SM) extensions. LLPs are a common prediction of a wide range of theories that address unsolved fundamental mysteries such as naturalness, dark matter, baryogenesis and neutrino masses, and represent a natural and generic possibility for physics beyond the SM (BSM). Recommendations of the LHC Dark Matter Working Group: Comparing LHC searches for heavy mediators of dark matter production in visible and invisible decay channels
/ Albert, Andreas (Aachen, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Backović, Mihailo (Louvain U., CP3) ; Boveia, Antonio (Ohio State U.) ; Buchmueller, Oliver (Imperial Coll., London) ; Busoni, Giorgio (Melbourne U.) ; De Roeck, Albert (Antwerp U. ; CERN ; Gottingen U.) ; Doglioni, Caterina (Lund U.) ; DuPree, Tristan (NIKHEF, Amsterdam) ; Fairbairn, Malcolm (King's Coll. London) ; Genest, Marie-Hélène (LPSC, Grenoble) et al.
Weakly-coupled TeV-scale particles may mediate the interactions between normal matter and dark matter. If so, the LHC would produce dark matter through these mediators, leading to the familiar "mono-X" search signatures, but the mediators would also produce signals without missing momentum via the same vertices involved in their production. Dark Matter Benchmark Models for Early LHC Run-2 Searches: Report of the ATLAS/CMS Dark Matter Forum
/ Abercrombie, Daniel (MIT) ; Akchurin, Nural (Texas Tech.) ; Akilli, Ece (Geneva U.) ; Alcaraz Maestre, Juan (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Allen, Brandon (MIT) ; Alvarez Gonzalez, Barbara (CERN) ; Andrea, Jeremy (Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Arbey, Alexandre (CERN ; Lyon Observ.) ; Azuelos, Georges (TRIUMF) ; Azzi, Patrizia (INFN, Padua) et al.
This document is the final report of the ATLAS-CMS Dark Matter Forum, a forum organized by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations with the participation of experts on theories of Dark Matter, to select a minimal basis set of dark matter simplified models that should support the design of the early LHC Run-2 searches. A prioritized, compact set of benchmark models is proposed, accompanied by studies of the parameter space of these models and a repository of generator implementations. [...]

Simplified Models for Dark Matter Searches at the LHC
/ Abdallah, Jalal (Taiwan, Inst. Phys.) ; Araujo, Henrique (Imperial Coll., London) ; Arbey, Alexandre (Lyon U. ; Lyon, Ecole Normale Superieure ; CERN) ; Ashkenazi, Adi (Tel Aviv U.) ; Belyaev, Alexander (Southampton U.) ; Berger, Joshua (SLAC) ; Boehm, Celine (Durham U., IPPP) ; Boveia, Antonio (CERN) ; Brennan, Amelia (Melbourne U.) ; Brooke, Jim (Bristol U.) et al.
This document outlines a set of simplified models for dark matter and its interactions with Standard Model particles. It is intended to summarize the main characteristics that these simplified models have when applied to dark matter searches at the LHC, and to provide a number of useful expressions for reference. Freeze-in through portals
/ Blennow, Mattias (Royal Inst. Tech., Stockholm) ; Fernandez-Martinez, Enrique (CERN ; Madrid, IFT ; Madrid, Autonoma U.) ; Zaldivar, Bryan (Madrid, IFT)
The popular freeze-out paradigm for Dark Matter (DM) production, relies on DM-baryon couplings of the order of the weak interactions. However, different search strategies for DM have failed to provide a conclusive evidence of such (non-gravitational) interactions, while greatly reducing the parameter space of many representative models. / Dudas, Emilian (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT) ; Heurtier, Lucien (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT) ; Mambrini, Yann (Orsay, LPT) ; Zaldivar, Bryan (Madrid, IFT)
A general analysis is performed on the dimension-six operators mixing an almost hidden Z' to the Standard Model (SM), when the Z' communicates with the SM via heavy mediators. These are fermions charged under both Z' and the SM, while all SM fermions are neutral under Z'. [...]
