We describe the magnet challenges for a Muon Collider, an exciting option considered for the future of particle physics at the energy frontier. Starting from the comprehensive work performed by the US Muon Accelerator Program, we have reviewed the performance specifications dictated by beam physics and the operating conditions to satisfy the accelerator needs. Search for high-mass resonances in final states with a $\tau$-lepton and missing transverse momentum with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for high-mass resonances decaying into a tau-lepton and a neutrino using proton–proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}= 13$ TeV is presented. The full Run 2 data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$ recorded by the ATLAS experiment in the years 2015-2018 is analyzed. [...]

Comparison of Two Detector Magnetic Systems for the Future Circular Hadron-Hadron Collider / Klyukhin, Vyacheslav (SINP, Moscow ; CERN) ; Ball, Austin (CERN) ; Berriaud, Christophe Paul (IRFU, Saclay) ; Curé, Benoit (CERN) ; Dudarev, Alexey (CERN) ; Gaddi, Andrea (CERN) ; Gerwig, Hubert (CERN) ; Hervé, Alain (Wisconsin U., Madison) ; Mentink, Matthias (CERN) ; Riegler, Werner (CERN) et al.
The conceptual design study of a Future Circular hadron-hadron Collider (FCC-hh) to be con-structed at CERN with a center-of-mass energy of the order of 100 TeV requires superconducting magnetic systems with a central magnetic flux density of an order of 4 T for the experimental detectors. The developed concept of the FCC-hh detector involves the use of an iron-free magnetic system consisting of three superconducting solenoids. [...]

Training of accelerator magnets is a costly and time consuming process. The number of training quenches must therefore be reduced to a minimum. [...]

Search for quantum black hole production in lepton+jet final states using proton--proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for quantum black holes in electron+jet and muon+jet invariant mass spectra is performed with 140 $fb^{-1}$ of data collected by the ATLAS detector in proton--proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider. The observed invariant mass spectrum of lepton+jet pairs is consistent with Standard Model expectations. [...]

Search for single vector-like $B$ quark production and decay via $B\rightarrow bH(b\bar{b})$ in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search is presented for single production of a vector-like $B$ quark decaying into a Standard Model $b$-quark and a Standard Model Higgs boson, which decays into a $b\bar{b}$ pair. The search is carried out in 139 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC between 2015 and 2018. [...]

Search for high-mass $W\gamma$ and $Z\gamma$ resonances using hadronic W/Z boson decays from 139 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for high-mass charged and neutral bosons decaying to $W\gamma$ and $Z\gamma$ final states is presented in this paper. The analysis uses a data sample of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV proton-proton collisions with an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the ATLAS detector during LHC Run 2 operation. [...]

Effect of Strand Damage in Nb3Sn Rutherford Cables on the Quench Propagation in Accelerator Magnets / Keijzer, Ruben (CERN ; Twente U., Enschede) ; Willering, Gerard (CERN) ; Dhalle, Marc (Twente U., Enschede) ; ten Kate, Herman (Twente U., Enschede)
Accelerator magnets employing Nb$_3$Sn Rutherford cables are more susceptible to conductor degradation than Nb-Ti magnets. Recent measurements on a Nb$_3$Sn accelerator magnet have revealed unexpected behaviour such as decaying voltages at constant current plateaus of V-I measurements, inverse ramp rate and temperature dependence of quench currents, and anomalous quench propagation measured by so-called quench antennas.
