The DUNE Far Detector Vertical Drift Technology, Technical Design Report
/ DUNE Collaboration
DUNE is an international experiment dedicated to addressing some of the questions at the forefront of particle physics and astrophysics, including the mystifying preponderance of matter over antimatter in the early universe. The dual-site experiment will employ an intense neutrino beam focused on a near and a far detector as it aims to determine the neutrino mass hierarchy and to make high-precision measurements of the PMNS matrix parameters, including the CP-violating phase. ICARUS at the Fermilab Short-Baseline Neutrino program: initial operation
/ ICARUS Collaboration
The ICARUS collaboration employed the 760-ton T600 detector in a successful three-year physics run at the underground LNGS laboratory studying neutrino oscillations with the CERN Neutrino to Gran Sasso beam (CNGS) and searching for atmospheric neutrino interactions. ICARUS performed a sensitive search for LSND-like anomalous $\nu_e$ appearance in the CNGS beam, which contributed to the constraints on the allowed parameters to a narrow region around 1 eV$^2$, where all the experimental results can be coherently accommodated at 90% C.L.. The CMS Phase-1 Pixel Detector Upgrade
/ CMS Tracker Group of the CMS Collaboration
The CMS detector at the CERN LHC features a silicon pixel detector as its innermost subdetector. The original CMS pixel detector has been replaced with an upgraded pixel system (CMS Phase-1 pixel detector) in the extended year-end technical stop of the LHC in 2016/2017. [...]

OT-$\mu$DTC, a test bench for testing CMS Outer Tracker Phase-2 module prototypes
/ Caratelli, Alessandro (CERN) ; Ceresa, Davide (CERN) ; De Clercq, Jarne Theo (Vrije U., Brussels) ; Galbit, Geoffrey Christian (Lyon, IPN) ; Haranko, Mykyta (CERN) ; Jain, Sandhya (Lyon, IPN) ; Caponetto, Luigi (Lyon, IPN) ; Makarenko, Inna (Brussels U.) ; Mersi, Stefano (CERN) ; Nodari, Benedetta (Lyon, IPN) et al.
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment plans to replace its strip tracker system with a completely new Outer Tracker system to cope with the higher luminosity, compared to Run 2 operation, provided by the HL-LHC. This CMS Phase-2 Outer Tracker will be build up from two types of modules both consisting out of two parallel silicon sensors separated by a few millimetres. [...]

The Versatile Link + project is about to enter its production phase, ready for the Phase 2 HL-LHC detector upgrades. We present the status of the front-end part of the Versatile Link$^+$ project: the Versatile Link$^+$ Transceiver, which provides a low-mass, radiation tolerant, optical transmit- and receive module for tight integration in the upgrading HL-LHC detectors. An all silicon pixel telescope has been assembled and used at the Fermilab Test Beam Facility (FTBF) for the last four years to provide precise tracking information for different test beam experiments with a wide range of Detectors Under Test (DUTs) requiring high resolution measurement of the track impact point. The telescope is based on CMS pixel modules left over from the CMS forward pixel production. [...]

Experimental Study of Different Silicon Sensor Options for the Upgrade of the CMS Outer Tracker
/ Tracker Group of the CMS Collaboration
During the high-luminosity phase of the LHC (HL-LHC), planned to start around 2027, the accelerator is expected to deliver an instantaneous peak luminosity of up to $7.5\times10^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. A total integrated luminosity of $3000$ or even $4000$~fb$^{-1}$ is foreseen to be delivered to the general purpose detectors ATLAS and CMS over a decade, thereby increasing the discovery potential of the LHC experiments significantly.
