Search for low-mass dilepton resonances in Higgs boson decays to four-lepton final states in proton–proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13\,\text {TeV} $ / CMS Collaboration
A search for low-mass dilepton resonances in Higgs boson decays is conducted in the four-lepton final state. The decay is assumed to proceed via a pair of beyond the standard model particles, or one such particle and a Z boson. [...]

Beam test performance of prototype silicon detectors for the Outer Tracker for the Phase-2 Upgrade of CMS / CMS Tracker Group Collaboration
A new CMS tracker detector will be installed for operation at the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC). This detector comprises modules with two closely spaced parallel sensor plates and front-end ASICs capable of transmitting tracking information to the CMS Level-1 (L1) trigger at the 40 MHz beam crossing rate. The DAQ and control system for the CMS Phase-1 pixel detector upgrade / Adam, W (Vienna, OAW) ; Bergauer, T (Vienna, OAW) ; Blöch, D (Vienna, OAW) ; Brondolin, E (Vienna, OAW) ; Dragicevic, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Frühwirth, R (Vienna, OAW) ; Hinger, V (Vienna, OAW) ; Steininger, H (Vienna, OAW) ; Beaumont, W (Antwerp U.) ; Croce, D Di (Antwerp U.) et al. /CMS
In 2017 a new pixel detector was installed in the CMS detector. This so-called Phase-1 pixel detector features four barrel layers in the central region and three disks per end in the forward regions. [...]

P-Type Silicon Strip Sensors for the new CMS Tracker at HL-LHC / Adam, W (Vienna, OAW) ; Bergauer, T (Vienna, OAW) ; Brondolin, E (Vienna, OAW) ; Dragicevic, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Friedl, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Frühwirth, R (Vienna, OAW) ; Hoch, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Hrubec, J (Vienna, OAW) ; König, A (Vienna, OAW) ; Steininger, H (Vienna, OAW) et al. /CMS
The upgrade of the LHC to the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) is expected to increase the LHC design luminosity by an order of magnitude. This will require silicon tracking detectors with a significantly higher radiation hardness. [...]

Test Beam Performance Measurements for the Phase I Upgrade of the CMS Pixel Detector / Dragicevic, M. (Vienna, OAW) ; Friedl, M. (Vienna, OAW) ; Hrubec, J. (Vienna, OAW) ; Steininger, H. (Helsinki Inst. of Phys.) ; Tuominen, E. (Helsinki Inst. of Phys.) et al.
A new pixel detector for the CMS experiment is being built, owing to the instantaneous luminosities anticipated for the Phase I Upgrade of the LHC. The new CMS pixel detector provides four-hit tracking while featuring a reduced material budget as well as new cooling and powering schemes. [...]

We investigate the three dimensional substructure of hadronic showers in the CALICE scintillator-steel hadronic calorimeter. The high granularity of the detector is used to find track segments of minimum ionising particles within hadronic showers, providing sensitivity to the spatial structure and the details of secondary particle production in hadronic cascades.
