ALICE HLT high speed tracking on GPU / for the ALICE Collaboration
The on-line event reconstruction in ALICE is performed by the High Level Trigger, which should process up to 2000 events per second in proton-proton collisions and up to 300 central events per second in heavy-ion collisions, corresponding to an inp ut data stream of 30 GB/s. In order to fulfill the time requirements, a fast on-line tracker has been developed. [...]

$K^{0}_{s}-K^{0}_{s}$ correlations in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7 TeV$ from the LHC ALICE experiment / ALICE Collaboration
Identical neutral kaon pair correlations are measured in $\sqrt{s}$=7 TeV pp collisions in the ALICE experiment. One-dimensional K$^{0}_{s}$-K$^{0}_{s}$ correlation functions in terms of the invariant momentum difference of kaon pairs are formed in two multiplicity and two transverse momentum ranges. [...]

Production of muons from heavy flavour decays at forward rapidity in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE Collaboration has measured the inclusive production of muons from heavy flavour decays at forward rapidity, 2.5 < y < 4, in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV. The pt-differential inclusive cross section of muons from heavy flavour decays in pp collisions is compared to perturbative QCD calculations. [...]

Anisotropic flow of charged hadrons, pions and (anti-)protons measured at high transverse momentum in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The elliptic, $v_2$, triangular, $v_3$, and quadrangular, $v_4$, azimuthal anisotropic flow coefficients are measured for unidentified charged particles, pions, and (anti-)protons in Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV with the ALICE detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Results obtained with the event plane and four-particle cumulant methods are reported for the pseudo-rapidity range |$\eta$|<0.8 at different collision centralities and as a function of transverse momentum, $p_T$, out to $p_T$=20 GeV/c. Transverse sphericity of primary charged particles in minimum bias proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Measurements of the sphericity of primary charged particles in minimum bias proton--proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC are presented. The observable is linearized to be collinear safe and is measured in the plane perpendicular to the beam direction using primary charged tracks with $p_{\rm T}\geq0.5$ GeV/c in $|\eta|\leq0.8$. [...]

Measurement of charm production at central rapidity in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The pt-differential production cross sections of the prompt (B feed-down subtracted) charmed mesons D0, D+, and D*+ in the rapidity range |y| < 0.5, and for transverse momentum 1 < pt < 12 GeV/c, were measured in proton–proton collisions at sqrt(s) = 2.76 TeV with the ALICE detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The analysis exploited the hadronic decays D0 -> K- pi+, D+ -> K- pi+ pi+, D*+ -> D0 pi+, and their charge conjugates, and was performed on a L_int = 1.1 nb^-1 event sample collected in 2011 with a minimum-bias trigger. Measurement of prompt J/$\psi$ and beauty hadron production cross sections at mid-rapidity in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE experiment at the LHC has studied J/$\psi$ production at mid-rapidity in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=7 TeV through its electron pair decay on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity $L_{int}$ = 5.6 nb$^{-1}$. The fraction of J/$\psi$ from the decay of long-lived beauty hadrons was determined for J/$\psi$ candidates with transverse momentum $p_t$ > 1.3 GeV/c and rapidity |y|<0.9. [...]
