Higgs boson pair production at NLO in the POWHEG approach and the top quark mass uncertainties / Bagnaschi, Emanuele (CERN) ; Degrassi, Giuseppe (Rome III U.) ; Gröber, Ramona (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua)
We present a new Monte Carlo code for Higgs boson pair production at next-to-leading order in the POWHEG-BOX Monte Carlo approach. The code is based on analytic results for the two loop virtual corrections which include the full top quark mass dependence. [...]

Higgs boson pair production is traditionally considered to be of particular interest for a measurement of the trilinear Higgs self-coupling. Yet it can offer insights into other couplings as well, since - in an effective field theory (EFT) parameterisation of potential new physics - both the production cross section and kinematical properties of the Higgs boson pair depend on various other Wilson coefficients of EFT operators. On the NLO QCD Corrections to Gluon-Initiated ZH Production / Degrassi, Giuseppe (CERN ; Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) ; Gröber, Ramona (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua) ; Vitti, Marco (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) ; Zhao, Xiaoran (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3)
We compute the QCD corrections at next-to-leading order for the process $gg \rightarrow ZH$, including both the virtual two-loop terms and real-emission contributions. The two-loop box diagrams in the virtual corrections are approximated analytically over the complete phase space, combining the results of an expansion in the limit of small transverse momentum and an expansion in the regime of high energy. Predictions for the Higgs masses are a distinctive feature of supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model, where they play a crucial role in constraining the parameter space. The discovery of a Higgs boson and the remarkably precise measurement of its mass at the LHC have spurred new efforts aimed at improving the accuracy of the theoretical predictions for the Higgs masses in supersymmetric models.
