Prospects of searches for long-lived charged particles with MoEDAL / Acharya, B.S. (King's Coll. London (main) ; ICTP, Trieste) ; De Roeck, A. (CERN ; Antwerp U.) ; Ellis, J. (King's Coll. London ; CERN ; NICPB, Tallinn) ; Ghosh, D.K. (IACS, Kolkata) ; Masełek, R. (Warsaw U.) ; Panizzo, G. (ICTP, Trieste ; INFN, Trieste) ; Pinfold, J.L. (Alberta U.) ; Sakurai, K. (Warsaw U.) ; Shaa, A. (Warsaw U.) ; Wall, A. (Alabama U.)
We study the prospects of searches for exotic long-lived particles with the MoEDAL detector at the LHC, assuming the integrated luminosity of 30 fb$^{-1}$ that is expected at the end of Run 3. MoEDAL incorporates nuclear track detectors deployed a few metres away from the interaction point, which are sensitive to any highly-ionizing particles. [...]

Implications of 98 GeV and 125 GeV Higgs scenario in non-decoupling SUSY with updated ATLAS, CMS and PLANCK data / Bhattacherjee, Biplob (Kavli IPMU, Japan) ; Chakraborti, Manimala (IACS, Kolkata) ; Chakraborty, Amit (IACS, Kolkata) ; Chattopadhyay, Utpal (IACS, Kolkata) ; Das, Debottam (Wurzburg, Germany) ; Ghosh, Dilip Kumar (IACS, Kolkata)
We discuss both MSSM and NMSSM scenarios in which the lightest Higgs boson with $m_h=98$~GeV is consistent with the small excess ($\sim 2.3 \sigma$) observed at the LEP in $e^+ e^-\rightarrow Zh$, with $h \rightarrow b {\bar b}$ process and the heavier Higgs boson of mass close to 125~GeV as the observed candidate of the SM Higgs like particle at the LHC. We show the allowed regions in the non-decoupling Higgs zone of MSSM parameter space which are consistent with several low energy constraints coming from heavy flavour physics, latest experimental data on Higgs signals and lower limit on superparticle masses from 7~TeV and 8~TeV LHC run. Higgs boson production via vector-like top-partner decays: diphoton or multilepton plus multijets channels at the LHC / Azatov, A. (Rome U. ; INFN, Rome) ; Bondu, O. (Lyon, IPN) ; Falkowski, A. (Orsay, LPT) ; Felcini, M. (Cantabria Inst. of Phys.) ; Gascon-Shotkin, S. (Lyon, IPN) ; Ghosh, D.K. (IACS, Kolkata) ; Moreau, G. ; Sekmen, S. (CERN)
We first build a minimal model of vector-like quarks where the dominant Higgs boson production process at LHC -- the gluon fusion -- can be significantly suppressed, being motivated by the recent stringent constraints from the search for direct Higgs production over a wide Higgs mass range. Within this model, compatible with the present experimental constraints on direct Higgs searches, we demonstrate that the Higgs ($h$) production via a heavy vector-like top-partner ($t_2$) decay, $pp \to t_2 \bar t_2$, $t_2\to t h$, allows to discover a Higgs boson at the LHC and measure its mass, through the decay channels $h\to \gamma\gamma$ or $h\to ZZ$. We present the activities of the 'New Physics' working group for the 'Physics at TeV Colliders' workshop (Les Houches, France, 30 May-17 June, 2011). Our report includes new agreements on formats for interfaces between computational tools, new tool developments, important signatures for searches at the LHC, recommendations for presentation of LHC search results, as well as additional phenomenological studies..

MSSM in view of PAMELA and Fermi-LAT / Bajc, Borut ; Enkhbat, Tsedenbaljir ; Ghosh, Dilip Kumar ; Senjanovic, Goran ; Zhang, Yue
We take the MSSM as a complete theory of low energy phenomena, including neutrino masses and mixings. This immediately implies that the gravitino is the only possible dark matter candidate. [...]

Flavor physics of leptons and dipole moments / Raidal, M. (NICPB, Tallinn) ; van der Schaaf, A. (Zurich U.) ; Bigi, I. (Notre Dame U.) ; Mangano, M.L. (CERN) ; Semertzidis, Yannis K. This chapter of the report of the "Flavour in the era of the LHC" Workshop discusses the theoretical, phenomenological and experimental issues related to flavour phenomena in the charged lepton sector and in flavour-conserving CP-violating processes. We review the current experimental limits and the main theoretical models for the flavour structure of fundamental particles. [...]
