Low-emittance Tuning for Circular Colliders
/ Charles, Tessa (Melbourne U.) ; Aumon, Sandra (CERN) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (CERN ; KEK, Tsukuba) ; Tydecks, Tobias (CERN) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN)
The 100 km FCC-ee e⁺/e⁻ circular collider requires luminosities in the order of 10³⁵ cm⁻² s⁻¹ and very low emittances of 0.27 nm·prad for the horizontal plane and 1 pm·prad in the vertical. In order to reach these requirements, extreme focusing of the beam is needed in the interaction regions, leading to a vertical beta function of 0.8 mm at the IP. [...]

Several Topics on Beam Dynamics in FCC-ee
/ Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Aumon, Sandra (CERN) ; Charles, Tessa (CERN) ; El Khechen, Dima (CERN) ; Shatilov, Dmitry (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Tydecks, Tobias (CERN)
The FCC-ee is a double-ring $e^+e^-$ collider to be installed
in a common tunnel of∼ 100km circumference, as a po-
tential first step before the FCC-hh hadron collider. Several
studies on the beam dynamics at FCC-ee: low emittance
tuning, dynamic aperture, beam blowup with/without beam
beam, are introduced in the paper..

Low emittance tuning of FCC-ee
/ Charles, Tessa (Melbourne U. ; CERN) ; Aumon, Sandra (ADAM, Geneva) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba ; CERN) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN)
The FCC-ee project studies the design of a future 100 km e+/e circular collider for precision studies and rare decay observations in the range of 90 to 350 GeV center of mass energy with luminosities in the order of 10$^{36}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. In order to reach these luminosity requirements, strong focusing is needed in the interaction regions. [...]

The first stage of the FCC (Future Circular Collider) is a high-luminosity electron-positron collider (FCC-ee) with centre-of-mass energy ranging from 88 to 365 GeV, to study with high precision the Z, W, Higgs and top particles, with samples of $5 \times 10^{12}$ Z bosons, $10^8$ W pairs, $10^6$ Higgs bosons and $10^6$ top quark pairs. / Aumon, Sandra (CERN) ; Doblhammer, Andreas (TU Vienna) ; Härer, Bastian (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba)
The FCC-ee study is investigating the design of a 100 km e⁺/e⁻ circular collider for precision measurements and rare decay observations in the range of 90 to 350 GeV center of mass energy with luminosities in the order of 10³⁵ cm⁻²s⁻¹. In order to reach such performances, an extreme focusing of the beam is required in the interaction regions with a low vertical beta function of 2 mm at the IP. [...]

/ Härer, Bastian (CERN) ; Aumon, Sandra (CERN) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Papaphilippou, Yannis (CERN) ; Tydecks, Tobias (CERN)
FCC-ee is a 100 km e⁺ e⁻ collider, which is being designed within the Future Circular Collider Study (FCC) for precision studies and rare decay observations in the range of 90 to 350 GeV center-of- mass energy. The beam lifetime will be limited to less than one hour, because of radiative Bhaba scattering and beamstrahlung. [...]
