CMB-S4: Forecasting Constraints on Primordial Gravitational Waves / CMB-S4 Collaboration
CMB-S4---the next-generation ground-based cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiment---is set to significantly advance the sensitivity of CMB measurements and enhance our understanding of the origin and evolution of the Universe, from the highest energies at the dawn of time through the growth of structure to the present day. Updated design of the CMB polarization experiment satellite LiteBIRD / Sugai, H. (Tokyo U., IPMU) ; Ade, P.A.R. (Cardiff U.) ; Akiba, Y. (KEK, Tsukuba ; Sokendai, Tsukuba) ; Alonso, D. (Oxford U.) ; Arnold, K. (UC, San Diego) ; Aumont, J. (IRAP, Toulouse) ; Austermann, J. (NIST, Boulder) ; Baccigalupi, C. (CNR, Italy ; INFN, Trieste ; SISSA, Trieste) ; Banday, A.J. (IRAP, Toulouse) ; Banerji, R. (Oslo U.) et al.
Recent developments of transition-edge sensors (TESs), based on extensive experience in ground-based experiments, have been making the sensor techniques mature enough for their application on future satellite CMB polarization experiments. LiteBIRD is in the most advanced phase among such future satellites, targeting its launch in Japanese Fiscal Year 2027 (2027FY) with JAXA's H3 rocket. [...]

With the advent of the LHC, we will be able to probe New Physics (NP) up to energy scales almost one order of magnitude larger than it has been possible with present accelerator facilities. While direct detection of new particles will be the main avenue to establish the presence of NP at the LHC, indirect searches will provide precious complementary information, since most probably it will not be possible to measure the full spectrum of new particles and their couplings through direct production. On the Physics Case of a Super Flavour Factory / Browder, T (Hawaii U.) ; Ciuchini, M (INFN, Rome3) ; Gershon, T (Warwick U.) ; Hazumi, M (KEK, Tsukuba ; Sokendai, Tsukuba) ; Hurth, Tobias (CERN ; SLAC) ; Okada, Y (KEK, Tsukuba ; Sokendai, Tsukuba) ; Stocchi, A (Orsay, LAL ; Orsay, LURE)
We summarize the physics case of a high-luminosity e+e- flavour factory collecting an integrated luminosity of 50-75 ab^(-1). Many New Physics sensitive measurements involving B and D mesons and tau leptons, unique to a Super Flavour Factory, can be performed with excellent sensitivity to new particles with masses up to ~100 (or even ~1000 TeV).
