First measurement of the νe and νμ interaction cross sections at the LHC with FASER’s emulsion detector / FASER Collaboration
This paper presents the first results of the study of high-energy electron and muon neutrino charged-current interactions in the FASERν emulsion/tungsten detector of the FASER experiment at the LHC. A subset of the FASERν volume, which corresponds to a target mass of 128.6~kg, was exposed to neutrinos from the LHC pp collisions with a centre-of-mass energy of 13.6~TeV and an integrated luminosity of 9.5 fb1. [...]

Neutrino Rate Predictions for FASER / FASER Collaboration
The Forward Search Experiment (FASER) at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has recently directly detected the first collider neutrinos. Neutrinos play an important role in all FASER analyses, either as signal or background, and it is therefore essential to understand the neutrino event rates. [...]

Search for dark photons with the FASER detector at the LHC / FASER collaboration
The FASER experiment at the LHC is designed to search for light, weakly-interacting particles produced in proton-proton collisions at the ATLAS interaction point that travel in the far-forward direction. The first results from a search for dark photons decaying to an electron-positron pair, using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 27.0 fb1 collected at center-of-mass energy s=13.6 TeV in 2022 in LHC Run 3, are presented. [...]

First Direct Observation of Collider Neutrinos with FASER at the LHC / FASER Collaboration
We report the first direct observation of neutrino interactions at a particle collider experiment. Neutrino candidate events are identified in a 13.6 TeV center-of-mass energy pp collision data set of 35.4 fb−1 using the active electronic components of the FASER detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The 100μPET project: A small-animal PET scanner for ultra-high resolution molecular imaging with monolithic silicon pixel detectors / Cadoux, Franck (Geneva U.) ; Cardella, Roberto (Geneva U.) ; Iacobucci, Giuseppe (Geneva U.) ; Iodice, Luca (Geneva U.) ; Ferrere, Didier (Geneva U.) ; Gonzalez-Sevilla, Sergio (Geneva U.) ; Kugathasan, Thanushan (Geneva U.) ; Martinelli, Fulvio (Geneva U.) ; Paolozzi, Lorenzo (Geneva U. ; CERN) ; Picardi, Antonio (Geneva U.) et al.
Recent developments in semiconductor pixel detectors allow a new generation of positron-emission tomography (PET) scanners that, combined with advanced image reconstruction algorithms, will allow for a few hundred microns spatial resolutions. Such novel scanners will pioneer ultra-high resolution molecular imaging, a field that is expected to have an enormous impact in several medical domains, neurology among others. [...]

The FASER detector / FASER Collaboration
FASER, the ForwArd Search ExpeRiment, is an experiment dedicated to searching for light, extremely weakly-interacting particles at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Such particles may be produced in the very forward direction of the LHC's high-energy collisions and then decay to visible particles inside the FASER detector, which is placed 480 m downstream of the ATLAS interaction point, aligned with the beam collisions axis. [...]

Measurements and analysis of different front-end configurations for monolithic SiGe BiCMOS pixel detectors for HEP applications / Martinelli, Fulvio (CERN ; Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Magliocca, Chiara (Geneva U.) ; Cardella, Roberto (Geneva U.) ; Charbon, Edoardo (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Iacobucci, Giuseppe (Geneva U.) ; Nessi, Marzio (Geneva U. ; CERN) ; Paolozzi, Lorenzo (Geneva U. ; CERN) ; Rücker, Holger (IHP, Frankfurt) ; Valerio, Pierpaolo (Geneva U.)
This paper presents a small-area monolithic pixel detector ASIC designed in 130 nm SiGe BiCMOS technology for the upgrade of the pre-shower detector of the FASER experiment at CERN. The purpose of this prototype is to study the integration of fast front-end electronics inside the sensitive area of the pixels and to identify the configuration that could satisfy at best the specifications of the experiment.
