Charm hadronisation measurements with the ALICE experiment / Giacalone, Marco (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) /ALICE Collaboration
Charm quarks are produced in hard scatterings at the early stages of the hadronic collisions due to the heavy mass of the quark. The production cross section of charm can be described by pQCD calculations based on the factorisation approach. [...]

TOTEM, recent experimental review / Cafagna, Francesco S (INFN, Bari) /TOTEM Collaboration
The TOTEM (TOTal cross section, Elastic scattering and diffraction dissociation Measurement at the LHC) experiment, located at the interaction point 5 of the LHC, has measured the total, elastic and inelastic proton-proton crosssections, using a luminosity independent method, based on the optical theorem, in a center-of-mass energy range from 2.76 to 13 TeV. The elastic scattering was investigated in a wide range of the squared four-momentum transfer |t| allowing study of the Coulomb-nuclear interference region down to |t| ∼ 8 × 10−4 GeV2. [...]

First bent wafer-scale sensor in truly-cylindrical geometry for the ALICE ITS3 detector / Ramos, Arianna G Torres (INFN, Bari ; Bari U.) /ALICE Collaboration
An upgrade of the three innermost layers of the ALICE ITS, intended to be installed during the LHC Long Shutdown 3, is under development. The detector concept foresees the usage of curved, wafer-scale Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors. [...]

Latest results from NA62 and NA48/2 experiments / Corvino, Michele (CERN) /NA48/2 Collaboration ; NA62 Collaboration
Kaon physics at CERN has a long tradition, started in 1980s by the NA31 experiment and continued by the current NA48/2 and NA62 collaborations. New results have been presented by both, namely a new measurement of the branching ratio of K± → π0π0μ±ν from NA48/2 and a set of new results from the broad physics programme of NA62..

Hard exclusive meson production in muon scattering at COMPASS / Sandacz, Andrzej (NCBJ, Warsaw) /COMPASS Collaboration
We report on measurements of hard exclusive muoproduction of ρ0, ω and π0 mesons on the proton at COMPASS using 160 GeV/c polarized μ+ and μ− beams scattering off a liquid hydrogen target. The extracted Spin Density Matrix Elements for vector mesons indicate a violation of s-channel helicity conservation for transitions of transversely polarized virtual photons to longitudinally polarized vector mesons, γT → VL, where V denotes ρ0 or ω meson.
