Abstract | Using a SPICE network model, we simulated the signal and noise of AC-coupled, single-sided, n+ on n type Si micro-strip detectors connected to PreMux-128 read-out electronics. The detector response was studied before and after neutron irradiation with a fluence of 8.3E13 n/cm2. We compared the simulated and experimental signal-to-noise ratios. |
