Abstract A circuit diagram of a probe for a nuclear magnetometer is described. It is shown how the high-voltage frequency in the probe can be increased to about 700 MHz and how this increase allows a magnetometer to be converted into a device characterized by a continuous range of measured fields from fractions of a mT to over 15 T with the electron spin resonance used in the lower part of the range and the nuclear magnetic resonance used in its upper part.
