Abstract | This article describes the analysis of pp-annihilation in flight into the omega pi /sup 0/ pi /sup 0/- and omega pi /sup +/ pi /sup -/ final states. The partial wave analysis shows evidence for a new isovector axial vector state b/sub 1/(1800) in its decay mode omega pi . This particle might be the first member of the radially excited axial vector meson nonet to be observed. (8 refs). |
