Description
In this thesis is presented the gain measure, qualification and choiceof the 336 Hamamatsu R5900 photomultipliers that are used in theAMS-01 Time of Flight (TOF) system.The special procedures and tecniques to operate the photomultipliers in space are also illustrated. (Italian text)
