Abstract | The correction of the local optics at the Interaction Regions of the LHC is crucial to ensure a good performance of the machine. In this paper, we compare two different techniques for local optics correction: Action-Phase Jump and Segment-by-Segment techniques. The comparison is made in view of future machine configurations such as Run 3 LHC optics and HL-LHC optics. |
