Abstract | The beam crabbing proposed for the LHC High Luminosity Upgrade requires two crabbing systems operating in both horizontal and vertical planes. In addition, the crabbing cavity design needs to meet strict dimensional constraints and functional specifications of the cavities. This paper presents the detailed electromagnetic design including em properties, multipole analysis, multipacting levels of the 400 MHz rf-dipole crabbing cavity. |
