Abstract Using 35 pb11 of data collected in pppp collisions at ss = 7 TeV by the LHCb experiment, we report first observations of the Cabibbo-suppressed decays ˉB0D+Kπ+π¯B0D+Kπ+π and BD0Kπ+πBD0Kπ+π, and measure their branching fractions relative to the corresponding Cabibbo-favored modes, ˉB0D+ππ+π¯B0D+ππ+π and BD0ππ+πBD0ππ+π, respectively. The ratios of branching fractions are: B(ˉB0D+Kπ+π)B(ˉB0D+ππ+π)=(5.2±0.9(stat)±0.5(syst))×102B(BD0Kπ+π)B(BD0ππ+π)=(9.6±1.5(stat)±0.8(syst))×102. Decays such as these will be of use to determine the CKM Unitarity Triangle angle γ.
