Rutanya Alda (Riga, 13 d'octubre de 1942) nom artístic de Ruta Skrastiņa és una actriu estatunidenca d'origen letó. Rutanya Alda va començar la seva carrera com a actriu el 1968 a la pel·lícula Greetings. Rutanya és coneguda pels seus papers en pel·lícules com El caçador, Mama estimada, Amityville: La possessió, entre d'altres. Ha actuat en sèries de televisió com CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case i Law & Order, entre d'altres. El 1977 es va casar amb l'actor Richard Bright, el qual va morir l'any 2006. Van tenir un fill.
