My experience with Spocket has been nothing short of infuriating. After canceling my subscription, they lured me into accepting a "free trial month" with the promise that my account would be automatically canceled afterward unless I chose to continue. Despite this clear agreement, they went ahead and charged me about €93 on October 19th for a service I didn’t want or use. Their customer support has been completely unresponsive, providing no solutions or explanations. I have already filed formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and am actively working to spread awareness of this issue. On Trustpilot, I’ve seen many other users with the same problem, yet Spocket continues to ignore them. To make matters worse, many of their positive reviews seem fake, likely written by bots or artificial intelligence, as those accounts have only reviewed Spocket and nothing else. If you’re considering using Spocket, beware. Their billing practices are dishonest, and their customer support is practically non-existent. Don’t make the same mistake I did. UPDATE: NOVEMBER 17, 2024. Right now I have received another charge of about EUR 96. I will be forwarding a complaint to my bank by tomorrow to get back all the money that Spocket is taking away from me illegally.

On October 26 I brought in a gift card that I had in my wallet for quite some time. The gift card was partially used showing $78.20 written on it. I tried to redeem it and was told it was inactive due to the length of time between uses. I gave it to the head cashier with the promise that she would get back to me. On November 14 I went in to the Kelowna store to find out what progress had been made. The head cashier could not find my card or any emails to head office about my problem. I stood there for 10 minutes while she looked with no success. I was told that I would receive a call regarding the issue. I did get a call back several hours later from the head cashier letting me know that she had found the email from head office. It stated that there was no value left on the card. This seamed very convenient as an hour earlier she couldn't find the card or an email. I asked for a copy of the email to confirm this but I was told that they couldn't send me copies from head office. About an hour later I received a call from the store manager. I once again asked for a copy of the email he refused and told me that him telling me should be good enough. I told him it wasn't and I wasn't happy , he said ok bye. One minute and 9 seconds later the call was over. I run a tourism business and if one of my managers blew a customer off like that I would be mortified. This could have all been avoided If 1)they called me back some time in the 19 days between October 26 and November 14 2)Sent me a copy of the email from head office(if it existed) 3) if the manager had given me more than 1 minute and 9 seconds of his time before he hung up on me. I truly believe they lost my card and instead of being straight up about it I was lied to. They chose to alienate my patronage over less than $80 I have been a customer for over a decade and I expect to receive better customer service than that. I will now always look for an alternative before returning to KMS.

There is a group trying to get things arranged to go after these fraudsters. There is also an MCoulter doing a piece on these crooks for the Toronto Star. We need to get together en masse and make things ugly for these thieves so they don't get to scam any more people
