We’re in the very early days of the rise of the Super-Connected Enterprise, and I’m ALL IN on this exciting future.
Most companies are ghost towns on LinkedIn. The logo is there. The promotional content is there. But *the people* are missing.
Super-Connected Enterprises will be entirely different.
It’s not about “activating” your people as reach-extenders or miniature versions of your company page.
Your people are much more than WiFi extenders for your marketing content.
It’s about *empowering* and *enabling* them to shine.
To show up and speak up with confidence and purpose, and with an honest intent to educate, inspire, and help others.
To publicly demonstrate subject matter expertise and buyer-centric / client-centric passion.
To build reputation, relationships, and trust at scale.
To accelerate their career success and to drive real business impact for the firm.
It starts with 🧠 New Mindsets, 💪 New Skillsets, 🧗♀️ New Activities and 📈 New Metrics.
It starts with seeing LinkedIn not as a job board. Not as a broadcast advertising channel. Not as a hunting ground.
It starts with seeing LinkedIn as *a conversation*. It’s the greatest ongoing business conversation the world has ever seen.
Super-Connected Enterprises are going to be the *demand magnets* and the *talent magnets* of the future, and they’ll build a tremendous competitive advantage as a result.
I'm ALL IN on helping firms get there.

I'm proud to have led LinkedIn's global Movember initiative in 2012. With 332 registered participants across 13 offices in 7 countries, we raised $98,000 and had a lot of fun doing it!
I began my involvement with Movember in 2011 by leading the 12 person Canadian LinkedIn team to more than $6,000 in funds raised.
