    • Extended a Java-based database management system called SimpleDB by implementing the core
    modules and set of operators for accessing data stored on disk.

    • Made a detailed performance evaluation for Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree and Linear Discriminant analysis (LDA) Classifiers by computing and comparing their confusion matrices based on each classifiers optimal parameter.

    • Developed a Java Based Employee Management System which allows Managers/Employees to create directories and files with User Level Restrictions.
    • Employees can also generate paycheck and raise a request for leave.
    • Leveraged JDBC for communication with SQL server.

  • Online Ordering for Cafeterias at SUNY Albany [J2EE]

    -

    • Contributed to a Web-based food ordering system which allows students/faculties/staff to place an order to any of the open cafeterias in the campus.
    • Included geolocation information, making it easier for the user's to order from the cafeterias nearest to them.

  • Internet Analysis using PlanetLab

    -

    • Implementation of Internet Measurement Framework where 10 nodes performed periodic
    pairwise path measurements using ping and traceroute over the period of two weeks.
    • Based on these measurements, the framework was analyzed for major factors such as outages,
    reliability, route fluttering, inconsistencies and triangular routing.
    • This project required extensive use of shell scripting and python programming for parsing the
    data.

  • Content Management System [PHP]

    -

    • Developed a PHP based web application that allows the user to create their own websites using a simple yet powerful CodeIgniter API.
    • Allows for seamlessly manage contents that may be articles, pages or users with better ease.
    • Designed it using MVC pattern for making it more modular and extensible.

  • Twitter Search Application [Android]

    -

    • Developed an Android Application for searching tweets based on keyword and user's geo-location.
    • Extensively used Twitter Search API to get various information about the tweet and the Twitter user.
    • Also included a feature to follow a particular Twitter user and be notified of every new tweet.
