I am a Computer Science Professor, a Canada Research Chair in Persuasive Technology, and the Director of the Persuasive Computing Lab who happens to be a LinkedIn Influencer. We steer the discussion! I am among the Top 1% with respect to engagement on my posts on Linkedin.

In recognition of the importance and impact of my research, I gave an invited talk to the Canadian Parliament – House of Commons’ Standing Committee. My presentation on “Using Persuasive Technology for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention” was very well received by the lawmakers and it has been adopted as part of the recommendation and report of the Standing Committee on Health titled “Chronic Disease Related to Aging and Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.”
