FedRAG: A framework for fine-tuning retrieval-augmented generation systems.
Proceedings of the ICML 2025 Workshop on Championing Open-source Development in Machine Learning (CODEML '25)
Workshop paper introducing the FedRAG paper that was recently accepted into the ICML 2025 Workshop on Championing Open-Source Development in Machine Learning (CODEML '25).

Waiting Time Distributions in the Preemptive Accumulating Priority Queue
Springer - Methodology and Computing in Applied Probability
Analyzed a preemptive priority queue in which customer priority levels accumulate linearly throughout time. Developed a recursive procedure to obtain the marginal waiting time distributions.
(Python, Maple, Mathematica)Other authors -
-
Controlling the workload of M/G/1 queues via the q-policy
European Journal of Operational Research
-
An M/G/1 Queue with Customer Blocking
Analyzed the effects of implementing a new customer blocking policy on several performance measures of a classical queueing system.
(Python, Maple, Mathematica) -
On a General Mixed Priority Queue with Server Discretion
Designed and analyzed a general priority queueing system to understand the wait times for patients arriving to an emergency department of a hospital.
(Python, Maple, Mathematica) -
A Least Square Method on Confidence Regions for High Quantiles of Heavy Tailed Distributions
Developed a new high quantile point estimator for heavy-tailed distributions, and used asymptotic methods to obtain its approximate confidence region.
(Mathematica, Maple)
Projects
-
FedRAG
A Python framework for fine-tuning RAG systems across centralized and federated architectures.
-
A Generalization of M/G/1 Priority Models via Accumulating Priority
Focused on the design and analysis of accumulating priority queueing systems. Mathematical expressions for waiting time distributions were established, and were confirmed via computer simulation.
(Python, MATLAB, Mathematica, MAPLE) -
Billion Dollar Project Part II – Predicting March Madness
Used non-linear statistical learning methods to create a general framework for predicting outcomes in the March Madness tournament. The overall method displayed high accuracy in predicting the 2015 NCAA tournament.
(SQL, Python, R) -
Billion Dollar Project – Predicting March Madness
Used generalized linear model techniques to obtain estimated probabilities of outcomes in the 2014 NCAA Men’s Division 1 Basketball tournament. Predicted all four No.5 vs. No.12 games correctly. (Python, R)
