“I have closely worked with Itay for the last 2 years in Barclays R&D center in Tel-Aviv. From the beginning, Itay quickly became “the guy” in the team to which we turn to find answers. I was grateful to have him on the team and actually seating close to him enabled me to “use” his assistance quite often. I am a Data and Business Intelligence (BI) manager and data specialist with more than 15 years of experience in this field and with a record of many BI implementations in various industries (such as banking and finance, retail, credit cards).
I am proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and BI platforms (mainly Integration Services (SSIS) and Analysis Services (SSAS)). I have also a few years of experience in .NET and web development.
I'm a body and bones technologist who always enjoys tough technological challenges (and enjoys the ways to solve them).
Significant Achievements:
• As a senior BI developer at Barclays - enhancing the BI platform (for instance through performance improvements) and designing the data warehouse to fit big data platform needs on Hadoop platform.
4/2014: Awarded a recognition letter in appreciation for outstanding performance and contribution to the risk project.
• As a BI expert and a project manager at Matrix BI – (2011-12) leading, designing and delivering the Campaign Data Management application for Coca Cola
4/2011 : Awarded best employee of the quarter in the company.
• As a web and a BI developer at Panorama Software – designing , developing and delivering the Panorama Scorecards application
