Today, Heather Gerrie Kwant is Co-President and CEO of Gerrie Electric Wholesale Limited. Heather assumed the role of President of Gerrie Electric in June 1988. Gerrie Electric was formed in 1957 by her father Ken Gerrie in Oakville, Ontario. Today, the company is the one of the largest independent electrical distributors in Canada. Gerrie is a Canadian family owned distributor together with her sister; they are leading this second generation company. She is passionate about the family business and is excited about the beginning of the transition to the third generation.
Gerrie sells Electrical, Lighting, Automation, Total Supply and Logistics Services, IP Solutions and Renewable Energy Products and Process Solutions to the Industrial, OEM, Commercial, Contractor and Institutional markets.
