Ben launched and is responsible for Colliers Innovation from strategy through execution of the emerging technology investment platform across all markets, geographies and service lines. Colliers operates in over 60 countries with more than 18,000 employees globally. Ben is a part of the Global Executive team.

Prior to Colliers, Ben was the Managing Director and led the Colliers Proptech Accelerator powered by Techstars, a joint initiative by two leading global organizations in real estate and technology. The program was a unique opportunity for property technology startups to rapidly commercialize, scale and fund their business, working closely with Colliers global leadership, the broader real estate industry and Techstars network of highly renowned mentors.

Prior to Techstars, Ben was at Ritual, a top-tier silicon valley venture-backed technology company that raised over $120 million USD, where he was a member of the senior leadership team, focusing on creating growth strategies globally. He led global partnerships, focused on new market entry.

Prior to joining Ritual, Ben was an early-stage tech investor at one of the most active funds in Canada. He actively sourced new deals, evaluated investment opportunities, and worked with companies both prior and post-investment to help them scale and achieve their potential.

Prior to that, Ben was a consultant in Accenture’s global strategy group and helped build Accenture’s Venture Capital Strategy Consulting Practice where, he provided advisory services to private equity clients resulting in over $100 million in growth capital financing and an IPO in September 2018. He worked on M&A engagements, developed growth strategy initiatives for exec teams and developed industry solutions within the firm.

He is an avid problem solver with a strong track record of success in evolving ideas into products/solutions and then rapidly scaling them globally. He is the capability founder of the Digital Factory at Accenture where he obtained funding and built the first digital interactive mobile capability - a first step for Accenture in content creation for digital ad as a service. Today, Accenture Interactive is the world's largest digital Ad agency.
