I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) executive passionate about elevating internal audit functions, strengthening risk management and governance practices, and developing effective and efficient regulatory compliance programs. With a rich background spanning diverse industries and cultures, I am recognized for my adept navigation of global business landscapes and skillful problem-solving abilities, particularly in damage control strategies.

I have worked in organizations of all sizes, from large corporations to family businesses and top four accounting firms in Canada and Argentina, where I played a pivotal role in expanding the advisory and consulting business. Throughout my career, I have established myself as a trusted advisor to business leaders, becoming the go-to person for critical issues.

Born in Argentina, I was one of the few female internal auditors in the country's oil and gas industry, paving the way for other women and spending five months in Turkmenistan. I also led international audits for Argentina’s major airline across the Americas, Europe, and Oceania.

Now a Canadian citizen, I have managed international risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal audit projects in Latin America, the USA, and Canada for mining companies with seamless precision. Committed to excellence and strategic vision, I have successfully shielded organizations from potential threats while anticipating industry trends.

I am currently seeking the next challenge in my career. I have recently joined the Board of Directors at the Responsible Gambling Council of Ontario and I am eager to expand my experience to corporate boards in extractive industries, consulting, and/or advisory companies with operations in or aiming to enter in the Latin American market. I bring innovative thinking and a readiness to pose tough questions to drive organizational success.

I believe in learning from failures rather than dwelling on them. Life is too short for self-pity; it's through our failures that we truly understand and appreciate success.
