    Meet Arely Brattin, Sales Development Manager at ZoomInfo! ❤️ Arely shares a bit about her sales career and experience working for ZoomInfo below ⬇️ 1. Who has been the most influential woman in your sales career? “The most influential woman in my sales career has been Amanda Smiley. She was the first person to reach out to me when I was making the transition from inbound SDR to outbound SDR and was one of my champions when I decided I wanted to pursue leadership. During my career at ZoomInfo, she has been an incredible resource and has helped develop me into the leader I am today. When I encounter an obstacle, she is quick to roll up her sleeves and get into the weeds with me until we find a solution, which is an incredible attribute in a leader. She would never ask you to do something she wouldn't do herself.” 2. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to women just starting their career in sales? “I'm sure you've heard the statistic that women are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet 100% of the qualifications, whereas men apply if they meet 60% of the qualifications. With that being said, I encourage women to apply for roles because we are just as successful in sales, and you don't have to check off every box to be successful. There were plenty of things I didn't know when I jumped into sales, but I learned along the way with the help of mentors—you can do the same. Don't sell yourself short and don't think you aren't capable, because you are.” 3. What do you love most about ZoomInfo’s sales culture? “I really appreciate that hard work is rewarded and that people at our company are willing to help. If I ever need assistance, people are eager to lend a hand or point me in the right direction, and I think that's important in a company culture.
