WHO WE ARE Regina Airport Authority Inc. (RAA) operates Regina International Airport (YQR) under a multi-year lease with Transport Canada. RAA's local Management Team oversees the day-to-day operations and development of YQR. The Authority is 100% self-financed, and does not receive public monies from any level of government. RAA is part of the unique YQR community, employees play an integral part in providing our passengers with a welcoming airport experience, promoting workplace diversity and play a part in influencing our airport community. Key Highlights: 🌴There will be a total of 9 sun destinations this winter: ☀️USA * Phoenix * Las Vegas * Orlando ☀️Mexico * Cancun * Puerto Vallarta * Mazatlan ☀️Dominican Republic * Puerto Plata * Punta Cana   ☀️Cuba * Varadero   🗓The start dates and frequency are staggered with some flights starting as early as October 31!   In terms of peak schedule frequency, we will top out at: * 17 warm weather departures weekly. * For Mexico specifically, we will see 10 peak weekly departures at the height of the winter season!   • ✈Yesterday, the Regina Airport Authority and Regina & District Chamber of Commerce were honoured to host a roundtable with Air Canada executives David Rheault, Vice President of Government and Community Relations, Serge Corbeil, Director of Government Relations for Western Region and Mazin Elbushra, Director of Network Planning for North America. 🌏 They came to share strategic updates from Air Canada, hear from our community and spend time with leaders in the area. This was an incredible opportunity to show who we are and our appreciation to Air Canada for continuing to grow our connections from Southern Saskatchewan to the world through their three major hubs: Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.

The position is accountable to prepare, develop, and maintain ongoing comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and safety checks to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and conformance to all building codes, plans and standards. This position is safety focused and requires a high degree of attention to ensuring a safe worksite for both RAA staff and contractors, while coordinating those activities. This position routinely provides support for RAA projects and recommends capital investments for the organization related to its building and facilities. The incumbent is accountable to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment and tools. The incumbent is accountable for installing, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling malfunctioning equipment and various mechanical systems.   An Industrial Mechanic Journeyperson (Red Seal Certified) is preferred, however, an Industrial Mechanic Apprentice completing their final year of Apprenticeship may be considered.   • 📢 We are HIRING! 📢 Regina Airport Authority requires four (4) Seasonal, Equipment Operators based on operational requirements. Individuals are responsible for operating heavy and light duty equipment to ensure the Regina International Airport (YQR) is operating in a safe, secure, and efficient manner. The position is responsible for inspecting and maintaining all site-wide surfaces, while ensuring compliance with the Aerodromes Standards and Recommended Practices (TP 312) and performs general repairs and preventative maintenance work on equipment. The position is responsible to evaluate airside surfaces as per the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and conduct Aircraft Movement Surface Condition Reporting (AMSCR) including Canadian Runway Friction Index (CRFI) in accordance with the Global Reporting Format (GRF). The position is responsible for assisting in emergency situations to ensure YQR is always safe and secure. Please see the attached career post for more information.     🥳🛫Welcome to YQR!📍🗺️ Today, we were thrilled to unveil our new interactive visitor kiosk in partnership with Tourism Regina and supported by Tourism Saskatchewan. The new kiosk will have Tourism Regina staff on-site regularly, helping visitors to YQR learn about all the amazing things happening around southern Saskatchewan. When they aren't around, there are interactive event calendars, videos, guides, maps, and much more available! Thanks to Mayor Sandra Masters, Tourism Regina, Tourism Saskatchewan, and everyone else who came out to support the launch. We look forward to welcoming the world to YQR!
