Yesterday, Quadra had a company-wide fireside chat with Garett Cochrane, a proud born and raised 2SLGBTQ+ Metis Yellowknifer who is currently serving as Deputy Mayor of Yellowknife. Garett spoke candidly about the challenges still being faced by Indigenous communities, and the actions needed to drive change. Advocacy and Representation: We are dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices within our organization and the broader community, ensuring representation and advocacy in our policies and initiatives. Our warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta facilitates the movement of chemicals to oil and gas customers across Northern Alberta. Extending beyond functionality, the wooden pallets used for storage, transportation, and distribution are purchased from Chrysalis Wood and Plastics, the business division of the Chrysalis Society. The local, not-for-profit aims to increase the quality of programs and services offered to adults with developmental disabilities throughout Edmonton and the surrounding areas. A simple, yet effective way for us to make a difference, while meeting our customers’ needs.
