Exciting News Confirmed! Magellan’s annual employee BBQ provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate the recent delivery of the 400th aircraft horizontal tail on the F-35 program. The BBQ event saw a special visit from Chris Agnew, Supply Chain Director for BAE Systems’ US Programs business, at our Winnipeg plant. Joining Chris was Sam Peake, BAE Systems’ Industrial Participation Manager on the F-35 Program. We were delighted to offer Chris the stage and he expressed his thanks to the Magellan team, emphasized the significance of celebrating program milestones, and recognized the enduring collaboration between our two companies. In his speech, he remarked, "On this program, there’ll be a lot more milestones to celebrate in terms of the collaboration between our two companies." In an exciting announcement, Chris revealed that one of these upcoming milestones will be the manufacturing and delivery of the first Canadian CF-35 horizontal tail, stating, "I can confirm it will be manufactured in this facility!" This news was exciting for the Winnipeg team who are proud and happy to manufacture these complex structures for the Royal Canadian Air Force’s CF-35 fleet. Last Friday it was officially confirmed that the 500th, 501st, and 502nd units from Magellan’s facility are destined for the F-35s that will be delivered to Canada and are now in Magellan’s 2025 manufacturing schedule. Thank you, Chris, for bringing such exciting news to our team. Here is to many more milestones and continued success! #EmployeeEngagement #BBQ #F35 #CF35

On Wednesday, a team from Magellan’s corporate office took part in our inaugural ESG walk-a-thon! 🚶♂️ 🚶♀️ This summer event aimed to raise funds for Food Banks Mississauga, a local organization that supports the community where Magellan’s corporate office is located. Our dedicated walkers raised more than $2,500 for the food bank, and Magellan will match this amount! This generous donation will help ease the burden for many families in our community, allowing them to focus less on putting food on the table or choosing between buying food and paying bills. Food insecurity is a pressing issue across Canada, affecting nearly every community. A huge thank you to our walkers and everyone who supported them with their generous donations. The ESG walk-a-thon was held at Paul Coffey Park in Mississauga, and after the walk, the team enjoyed delicious refreshments and awarded prizes to the top three fundraisers. Congratulations to Ann Belbeck (1st place), Ting Yeh (2nd place), and Liliana Nakamura (3rd place)! Special thanks to Candace Jagarnauth and Karen Yoshiki-Gravelsins for organizing this wonderful event and showing such care for the community where our Magellan employees work every day. #ESG #EmployeeEngagement #Community #FoodBanksMississauga #FoodInsecurity
