At #KCB, putting “People first" is a core value we live by. We’re dedicated to building strong teams within our offices and making a positive impact in our communities. The United Way British Columbia's motto, “United, We Are Stronger,” reflects our shared commitment to compassion and demonstrates how small actions can create lasting change. For over 30 years, KCB has proudly partnered with United Way to raise funds to support vulnerable community members. In addition to a Canadian office-wide fundraiser this year, our Vancouver team organized a “Schools Out Supply” donation campaign, assembling 30 kits filled with essential school supplies like pens, crayons, paints, and construction paper—items that many children may not have access to. These kits were donated to the Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, located on the traditional, unceded, and occupied territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), S?l?ílw?ta?/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. Kiwassa Neighbourhood House fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment for the vibrant Hastings-Sunrise community in Vancouver. #CommunityImpact #PeopleFirst #UnitedWay #GivingBack
